Nice and east process to have my tested even if your NHS patient.

Staff are excellent and make you feel very welcome. All tests were carried out professionally and I was more than satisfied with outcome.

Got a new pair of glasses and the lenses were terrible. Made me feel ike my eyes were crossed.Took them back and explained. Got them back 2 weeks later for them to be a slight bit better but still unwearable. Gotta take them back again but totally lost faith in them.

Had an accident where my glasses were smashed. Rang for appointment got one the same day. Had a eye test and chose new glasses. Got both pairs of varifocal 5 days later. Service was brilliant.

i collected my driving glasses and everyday glass which are both very smart ... and i can actually see perfectly ... bonus!!! ... great staff and service .... my mam also was attended to at the same time and paying for the more indepth eye test did discover a significant problem with her eyes ... she was promptly referred to the hospital .. and the process has now started to try and rectify this ... without this screening it would have led to something irreparable ... so for that we thank you for your expertise xx

I have been twice. First time was my initial eye test appointment and all staff which were the adviser I saw when I first went in, the adviser who did the tests to check my eyes for any problems before I saw the optician, the optician, the adviser who measured me for my glasses and the adviser when I went to pick them up were all very helpful, knowledgeable and friendly and nothing was a bother. My second visit was for a second pair of glasses to use as a spare, again I was helped to chose a suitable pair as I have a very high prescription so limited to suitable frames so they have to take a pic of me on my phone to show me what they look like on, which I found very helpful. I was told they’d be ready in 2 weeks which they were and the prescription was spot on, I could see clearly immediately I didn’t even have to try to get my eyes to focus, I could see perfectly with them straight away, so was well impressed. The prices are very reasonable too. I would highly recommend Specsavers at Stanley.
