Great for a quiet walk around a nice reservoir. Although actually walk all the way around was quite a challenge as there isn’t really a path all the way around. Maybe walk to the end and back. Don’t try and walk all the way around that was quite difficult when I think about it.

Great quiet walk , lots of wild life.It can be cold on a blustery day but great when there is good weather.Could do with more bins and possibly better parking as can get busy in the summer

I love this place I actually live here.I just wish that visitors would follow the code that is on the notice boards on the entrance to the reservoir and then again on the bridge leading to the dam, keep dogs on a lead, no swimming,no fires,no camping no speeding 10m.p.h. is the speed limit, just follow the rules and enjoy the wonderful peaceful atmosphere and beautiful sceneryI must add that most people follow the country code but the odd few make it an ordeal for visitors and the people who live here.

Scenery to die for. Shame about the idiot visitors who leave litter, copious amounts of dog poop and even swim in the reservoir. The people who live there are really nice and helpful and care about their surroundings. The couple in the first bungalow are very nice and if you need a poop bag will be happy to help.

I've just walked all the way around. It's pretty straightforward. Although no paths as such. Beautiful place. Will definitely be coming back again and I was the only one there .

An absolutely beautiful location we sometimes visit for a picnic. Watch that you don't upset the man who lives in the bungalow by the dam; he hates you for daring to be there.
