Black Bull Hotel
Has been improved on the inside but the outside looks a bit naff. Service was not stunning - prices not cheap. Almost no phone signal and bar staff didn't know the WiFi password. Wanted Cider - the pump was off.

A cosy little pub, nicely done up, great local beer, sadly when we visited they weren't serving food(staffing issues). We will try again next time we are in the area.

Stayed for 2 nights. The room was lovely, modern and absolutely spotless! Staff couldn’t have been more helpful, lovely bar and the food was great. Can’t recommend enough. I will be back!

The Black Bull catered for a recent event. Food hygiene issues and we had food poisoning. We were not the only ones.

Had a lovely meal here. Quick friendly service with very good portion sizes.Did have to send the steak back as asked for well done. Promptly got what I wanted.A little pricey for the location at £23 for steak and chips and £3 for a pint of lemonade but it was a good size meal and very full after eating.

Recently done out. Very smart and the new young owner clearly trying very hard. We were the low season so quite quiet but I'm sure it will be busy. A big improvement in some of the other village options.

Food was appalling. Gravy was cold and watery. There was no steak in the steak pie. The kids pizza was budget. The chips weren’t chips they were wedges which kids don’t tend to like. I would not come back.
