Welcomed by friendly and helpful staff, the room was spotless and all you need for a stay. Bed very comfortable, room right temperature.Only thing I missed was coffee facilities in room, you can pay a returnable deposit and hire a kettle. Although I didn't use them there were good transport links, a nearby Tesco Express and restaurants.

Good location, close to everything. Rooms are out dated and not the cleanest but you get what you pay for. Our room was double booked and the staff upgraded our room for inconvenience. The security staff though are dreadful. Extremely rude and impolite. Zero manners whatsoever and very cheeky when entering later at night. Front desk staff on the other hand were fine!

Well located next to the tram and bus stations. Very good staff and always wiyh a smile. But the room was a little dirty and very small, but I think is according to the price.

I stayed in that hotel for 2 days. The room was clean. Restroom and bathroom are very small. There is no restaurant in the hotel. They allow you to use a microwave to heat your food. Staff is very nice and respectful. Traim is close so you can reach to the city center. I bought the breakfast too but it was not a british breakfast. Still, good.

A terrible experience for my brother Michael who is recovering from a broken back, my grandson and myself. After booking in and going to the room we were gobsmacked, the room, the beds and the bedclothes were not clean and the facilities were terrible. It was not what we expected. Before booking we inquired about the facilities and would it be suitable for a 58 year old man who was recovering from a broken back who fell 20 feet from a ladder and we were told that it would and that the room had a double bed for my grandson and myself and a single bed for Michael and lifts to accommodate disabled peopleWe were not told the single bed was in fact a bunk bed over the double bed and had at least rungs to be climbed to get into the bed. What sane person would expect a man recovering from a broken back and in chronic pain to climb six rungs up a ladder to get into bed ?I went down to reception and complained and although the staff were very sympathetic and pleasant I was told that the hotel was booked out and there was nothing they could do.I asked for a refund to see if we could try to get somewhere else to accommodate us and was also told we would have to contact someone by email which I was given by a member of staff for a refund and it would take time; unfortunately I lost the card with the email on it, otherwise I would be using it now. After that I phoned around to see if we could get alternative accommodation elsewhere but couldn't afford the prices mentioned.I then went back to reception and explained that I couldn't meet the cost to get alternative accommodation unless I got a refund and again was told that I would have to use the email and that it would take time.Having travelled from Northern Ireland to take my grandson to see Man utd for his 9th birthday and reevaluation the situation we had no choice but to stay.My grandson slept in the bunk above the double bed and my brother slept in the double bed alone due to his condition, no-one can sleep beside him in case of any mishaps; so I had to sleep on the floor for two nights and I am 66 years old, disabled myself with underlying illnesses and serious health problems, and couldn't go to the match as I was in no fit state. To be honest I have been so angry about this that I have an appointment to see a solicitor to see if anything can be done about this.So I'm sorry, even though the staff were lovely and pleasant I cannot give this hotel any score and would not recommend it to anyone after our horrendous time there.

Rooms are small as expected with a budget hotel beds with single can comfortably fit 3 people. Shower and toilet provided in Room which was great. 24hr food available and a drinks fridge and cold food also available. Tram stop within 5min walk would highly recommend.

I recently stayed at the Ibis Budget Hotel, and while there were a few aspects that could be improved upon, my overall experience was quite enjoyable. The standout feature of this hotel is its fair value for money. The room was clean and comfortable, which is certainly a priority when traveling. However, it's worth noting that the room service was almost non-existent during my stay. That said, it wasn't a major issue for me, as I was mainly looking for a budget-friendly place to rest during my trip. The hotel's location was convenient for my needs, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. It's evident that they are doing their best to make guests feel welcome. In conclusion, the Ibis Budget Hotel may have some room for improvement in terms of room service, but it offers a decent and comfortable stay at a reasonable price. If you're looking for a budget-friendly option and don't require extensive room service, this hotel is a fair choice. I'd rate it four stars for its value for money and overall pleasant atmosphere. ⭐⭐⭐⭐

I knew the room would be basic but even still I was disappointed. The toilet is in a cupboard not wide enough to fit my shoulders so I had to use the toilet at an angle. Lifts were broken. Breakfast was certainly not worth the money. Can't fault the staff though.

Budget by name...Rooms were akin to a private side room in a hospital. TBH we only booked in because there was nothing else available and of course prices reflected availability which left a sour taste.Definitely stayed in much better places for half the cost.Staff were the usual Ibis standard, very helpful and polite.

For the price, it's pretty good. Location is very convenient for the Metrolink, rooms and beds are comfortable and clean. Facilities are minimal/budget travel focused. The room layout and furniture makes it a bit awkward for two people with luggage, but for one, or two if they are traveling light, it's perfectly adequate for the price.
