NOT RECOMMEND!!!! JUST RUNI have my cats checked every 6 months. Why? Because I don't want the disease to reach the final stage. We went for a check-up in Dec 22. Afterwards, I went to the vet almost every month in Jan-Feb-March-April because my baby was in pain. I told them a thousand times something was wrong. They gave us painkillers and sent us home. I went back again and again, saying that he was not eating well, his skin was getting worse, his wound was getting bigger, etc. “””“ohh he is fine” they said. Finally, Jeremy suggested me a medicine and said, “It's a bit expensive, this medicine needs to be used with another medicine to reduce the vomiting effect, which is also expensive.” When it arrived home, I saw that the medicine was liquid. Even though I told him my cat was good at taking pills, he sent me liquid that tasted very bad and was very difficult to give to the cat. I gave it to my child anyway, but the medicine made him sicker. Later, when I asked him why he sent me liquid even though I told him that this medicine was not suitable for cats and that I wanted pills, he said, Oh

Update: I was right, they forgot to claim the cremation from my insurer, I spent a full day calling and emailing around sorting it for them. I had more compassion from BT than from Medivet Hendon, instead of sending me an explanation and invoice 8 months after my cat died (was also mistreated for his heart at Medivet) they passed my details onto very rude debt collectors. Despite going there for 5 years spending over £20k, never leaving the reception desk without paying - they treated me like a thief, ignoring I was grieving, and really couldn't care to apologise for causing me this stress due to their mistakes.I used to go there because of the senior vet who was so knowledgeable and compassionate, he retired in December 2021, since then it's an admin chaos mixed into a sales machine.I made so many complaints and never got anywhere, avoid this practice if you can!I'm now with an independent vet, where they give the attention, care and compassion my pet deserves.---Awful service, it's like queuing up in a factory, every time you go in you see a different vet, if you have insurance they racking up unnecessary tests, if you question them they are so patronising I had to engage an online vet service to speak to them on behalf of me and my pet to ensure they look at the welfare of my pet, not how much money they can claim from my insurer. I left over £25k at Medivet Hendon over 5 years for three ill cats, the last one died 8 months ago and because they forgot to claim the last bill from my insurer they chasing me with debt collectors, ignoring my emails - the whole hospital is a joke in the last two years.

The only reason to take my vets to Medivet is because they have a team of vets so can work together. There is no other reason because in my experience of vets so far, it is almost impossible to find one that you can trust. more than one mind is always better than one in most cases.up to now, they have not disappointed either.Being a vet is an enormous amount of responsibility. You need to be exceptionally passionate about what you do and be learning all the time, even in your own time, and that’s not for everyone. In my profession I am doing personal study seven days a week. If you’re not completely happy with what you are being told, always do your own research. Maybe even get a second opinion. Don’t just turn up and listen. Do your research before you get there and ask the vet questions. This will give you a very good indicator of their knowledge.The number one thing I look out for is how vets operate. Does the practice have the animals welfare as a priority over profit, for example? I do the due diligence before I visit and then ask questions. If the vet can’t answer I’m in the wrong place.From experience so far, Medivet are better than other vets I’ve used and I’ve had pets all my life. They definitely do have the advantage of having more than one vet they can consult with which is a big bonus in my opinion. Particularly when you receive bad news and really need that second opinion. It also means in an emergency, more vets are likely available. I’ve got two cats and up to now I can honestly tell you the diagnosis carried out by Medivet has been excellent so far. One of cats was recently diagnosed with cancer and they sorted out the steroids for us so we can make her more comfortable and the lab results came back in good time. They were very thorough and I could not have asked for more. What is for me is I trust them. In my opinion the vets have not faulted yet and have always provided the best care possible. That is critical. They also have 24 hours care.To give you an example. I’ve had a cat that was always touching their left ear with their paw and rubbing it. Could be mites or an infection or something else causing the discomfort is what I thought. We had one vet tell us it may be cancer. Another vet told us a build up of too much wax. It turned out to be infected and a quick sample of what was in the ear went to the lab with the results. We stuck with that vet for years as a result of their thoroughness. It wasn’t Medivet but this is how Medivet operate.I’ll try update my review in the future so I can provide the most accurate reviews I can.Four stars because I can rest easy that if I need a vet, my pet is in safe hands. Our dog was very poorly in the evening and we needed a vet to care for him overnight. Everyone from the receptionist to the vet was very friendly and helpful. They seem to be taking good care of our dog and keeping us updated. Would highly recommend.

Lovely and friendly staff, if you have an emergency they will see you right away. My cat needed surgery and they have taken great care of her while at the clinic, she even got cuddles after her surgery and post operation visits were very smooth and informative. I'm really happy I have found this place!

I brought my cat in as a client of West Green and because he needed overnight care. The care has been great, all the staff were friendly and obviously care for the animals.However, needing to be contacted by West Green rather than the vets at Hendon has been very frustrating. It would have been much easier to speak to the people caring directly for him rather than second hand. I understand that some people might prefer to hear from their own vet, but it would be great to be given the choice, rather than having that choice made for me.

They are very open and upfront about prices which I liked. If you email them a price enquiry they get back to you very quickly with quotes. Very responsive. Prices I would say are average. They saw our dog and were able to help him. Previous vet was clueless and couldn’t help, so happy with outcome here.

I’ve heard about the practice via my friend, as this is where she registered her cat. I was not previously registered with the practice, but had an emergency and needed to see the vet the same day and my regular practice was closed. I booked outside of hours appointment for my pet after swift registration on the phone. Understandably, it was more expensive than one during opening times, which I was informed about. However, the care and service my pet and I received, was up to a very high standards. Both the reception staff and vet Dominika were extremely friendly and kind. Both expressed a great interest in the wellbeing of my pet and made the whole stressful situation much more bearable. Everything was explained to me in a understandable manner, answering all my concerns and questions accordingly. Upon discovering additional concerning findings, I received a detailed advise and instructions on how to address them. I would strongly recommend the practice and would like to thank all the staff for their hard work. And a special thank you to vet Dominika, for taking phenomenal care of my cat!

My cat has always been a very healthy cat. I book him in for a full check-up every few months. Nearing the time of his neutering, prior to the neutering, he had a little blood in his urine. We asked the doctor many times if he could still be neutered in this condition. My cat's neutering doctor swore to us that there was no problem at all. And so it was that three days after last night's neutering, my cat passed away in his sleep. My family and I didn't even get a word of apology from the doctor who neutered him!!! Rather, someone else said it for him. Since all the tests were done and we were told afterwards that maybe there was something wrong with his blood in his urine and that he was not to be neutered. Then why tell us at the time that this was a normal condition and was perfectly fine to do? Such self-contradiction. It really made us very disappointed and upset. There was no compensation and no personal apology. I couldn't even get a REFER for the autopsy that needed to be done on him. We are left to go on earth with questions and pain to remember our cat. This is really a very irresponsible and conceited thing to do that led to my cat's death. I already feel extremely disillusioned with the medical system for my pets. People don't have human rights we can protest, cats don't have cat rights I don't even have a place to complain.
