I understand doctors are always busy. But that's not and excuse for them being rude, not listening, being obviously annoyed when you don't understand what they are saying, and giving prescriptions without further explanation. And besides all that, consultations now are usually over the phone - which makes even more difficult to understand the doctor's recommendations. I hate every minute when I'm sick and need to get an appointment - it's so stressful! I don't know if other health centres are better than this one, but I honestly hope they are and people can get decent help when they need.

Bad practice.Went in initially for a blockage in my ear, was prescribed drops and told if the issue was no better by the end of the week come back in.My ear has gotten worse as a result of my first visit (the doctor plunged the earwax even deeper into my ear) so I made a return visit this morning.Absolute waste of time.The doctor didn’t seem to want to help from the outset. I was told that there was nothing more they could do for me as the practice does not offer syringing (despite mentioning it minutes prior)I was told to sort this out by myself and will likely have to pay a costly fee to have this removed.Very disappointing experience.

Agree with all recent comments, terrible system of having to call at 8am or you can't get an appointment or book ahead no matter the concern.Anything emergent or routine like smear they send you to another practice miles away.Very rude receptionist, you can't even tell if they are listening to you.Dr's are good when you finally get to speak to them, but it's an assault course to do so and now ony over the phone.Blood test I asked for was overridden by the 'box ticking' blood tests that they clearly needed to show they were completing after covid for patients my request just didn't get done and then the said they had no knowledge of it. Therefore, no results were given for the problem I attended surgery for.Take ages to issue repeat prescription and often have to chase.In summary awful management

The doctors are good (although it's becoming increasingly a 'diagnosis by phone' service now) but I recently had to make a complaint about a specific receptionist. Extremely rude. It's a very antiquated attitude from the receptionist where she seemed to think she was doing me a favour by doing what I asked her to do.My complaint has also gone unanswered; they are clearly not bothered about taking on board comments from patients.Don't use this practice if you expect any kind of compassion/understanding from the staff.

I went here for some physio and whilst I imagine the parking could be difficult it was ok and the receptionist was really helpful.

Such a friendly environment. The staff are first class. They are very Polite and very professional.Next day appointment and no waiting.Would recommend.

Terrible reception system. You have to call at 8am of the very day to make any appointments but even if you do so you are not guaranteed one.The receptionist refused to make an appointment when I told her that I wanted to see the GP because of really bad period cramps, simply advising me to go talk to a pharmacist for pain killers.I was desperate for help and waited all night just to see the GP. Very disappointed.

This practise will not book appointments. You have to call in the morning to get an appointment that day which isn't guaranteed. This is an appalling system which in no way takes into account either non-urgent medical issues or people's work or care commitments. Terrible. Avoid.

Doctor and health workers I've seen at this surgery are all very compassionate, attentive and friendly, with a sense that they really want to help.

Since this surgery became part of the gables, its awful got told different reasons a phone appointment wasn't met, waited ages for results even though they were at the surgery. Had to give 1 star to post if i could no stars would be awarded
