Excel Performing Arts

Excellent! Would rate higher if i could. Sam is amazing! Gained so much more then just a dance teacher/school. We enrolled our extremely shy 3year old little girl into classes and from the second we walked in, she came out of her shell like I've never seen her before. She hasn't once displayed any shyness around Sam, which is unbelievable as she has with everyone else including close family members. She has developed a super confidence and self esteem in just a few short months and she wouldnt have without excel's help, all i can say is a massive Thank you!

A totally amazing dance school! Both of our girls cannot wait each week for their dance lessons, they have learnt so much from the brilliant teachers, Sam, Stephen & Claire. Who all have a wealth of experience & expertise, they are patient, kind & really inspire the children.They achieve really standards in the EDTA exams, and work hard to get students ready for their exams. And every year they put on a 2 day show at the sandpit theatre, the standard is incredible, and the girls love watching the older children & feel even more inspired to do more classes!! It’s a lovely event that brings all ages & abilities together.We love Excel, I only wish I was 7 again & could be an excel student myself ;-) !!!!!!

What can I say Excel is amazing , once your child joins they will not want to leave. The teaching, professionalism, oppourtunity to perform and fun is fantastic. My daughter does Tap and Jazz and they always push her to achieve in a positive way and is great for fitness. I would highly recommend

Having 2 children attend for over 5 years, I would highly recommend Excel Performing Arts. They have classes for all ages and abilities and the teachers are welcoming and encouraging, whilst managing to achieve results of a high professional standard. As well as structured exams in ballet and tap there are opportunities for all to perform, especially in their annual show, which seems to get better every year. I have found that both Sam and Steven will always be there to help with anything you need and are happy to share their experience and advice from having worked in the industry. Both my children love being part of the 'Excel Family' and have also made amazing friendships here.

My daughter danced with Excel for a reasonable period of time. The standard of teaching and the performances achieved are both very high and very impressive. The Excel Team are hugely dedicated. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Thank you to Excel and particularly Claire

I have 2 girls who have been dancing at Excel Performing Arts for about 10 years which says it all! The annual show is a real highlight and we are always blown away the professional production and seeing how the children build in their confidence over the years. It feels like we are always picking up or dropping the girls at their dance classes at Bowmansgreen school but seeing them develop their dance skills and making new friends is all worth it. Keep it up Sam, Steven and Clare!

My two girls have been dancing a Excel since they were 4 and started with ballet which they absolutely loved from the start. Now 9 and 7 they both do ballet, tap and Street jazz. The sense of community they girls have by being part of Excel Performing Arts is amazing and they love getting up for their Saturday morning lessons. The highlight of their year is the amazing show they put on and getting to be part of a big fabulous production. 5 stars all round! X

Excel is an amazing dance school, led so skillfully and with such care by Sam and Stephen. Our 8 year old daughter has grown so much in confidence and skills over the past 4 years, learning in such a safe, caring, warm and inspiring environment. The investment and dedication of the annual dance shows is staggering, and all students are enabled and empowered to shine. Having tried a few dance schools locally, Excel feels like the 'real deal' with such professionalism, incredible teaching and a huge range of dance styles and choreography taught week on week. I'm constantly impressed and our daughter has been really encouraged to challenge herself to reach her potential, with idta ballet exams and public performance opportunities. Can't recommend this school enough!

My daughter has been attending Excel since she was 5 years old. She now is 16 and is a very confident dancer and still loves all her classes.Sam and Steven are fantastic teachers, both very professional, kind and caring. They manage to bring out the best in all children and help build their confidence whilst learning and having fun.The yearly show is amazing and gives all the children the opportunity to perform on stage. It’s always a spectacular event and nothing short of a west end show. I would highly recommend Excel Performing Arts.

My daughters have been dancing with Excel for 10 years and between them they do tap, ballet, pointe, commercial & hip hop, street jazz and performance class and love it! The highlight each year is the show that is put on, this displays all the hard work that is put into the students and is so professional and full of talent.My daughters have also achieved many IDTA tap and ballet exams too, they get lots of support from Sam and Steven to complete these and builds their confidence so much.Excel is open to everyone, all ages and abilities and there are lots of classes to choose from, I would highly recommend Excel Performing Arts.
