As a young adult, I have been a patient of Ian Williams all of my life. As a result of his quiet, reassuring and patient care, I have grown up without the fear of dentists that so many of my parent’s generation have. Recently, Ian has done some cosmetic work on my lower teeth to remove the unsightly gaps that I hated so much. The effect is amazing and I am delighted with how natural and perfect they look. For the first time I can remember, I am not embarrassed about smiling and showing off my teeth. Thank you Ian.

I would thoroughly recommend this practice. Reception are friendly and professional. Easy to make and change appointments. I was seen as an emergency by Alex. She identified and solved the problem in a very professional manner. Everything was clearly explained and there was plenty of time for questions. Following a very comprehensive check up I was booked in for treatment. The injection was painless and the treatment done in a very caring way.I will certainly return for a checkup in a years time. Great service.

had my first consultation at southernhay dental today.my previous dental experience wasn’t good, i had a lot of dental anxiety due to judgement from dentists in the past, and struggled to get an appointment with an NHS dentist for years due to the demands.i made the choice to register at southernhay and it’s the best decision i’ve made for my health. Anna Bearman is lovely and gave me such helpful advice, as did the hygienist (so sorry I forgot your name!) I felt genuinely cared for and understood, no judgement about how my teeth got in such a state. i went in for my consultation and they kindly squeezed me in for two other treatments in the same day too, meaning all dental work i currently needed had been done in a matter of hours. i cant thank you all enough!

My wife and daughter have recently registered with Martin Day, as I will be shortly as we’ve found him to be very patient, meticulous, knowledgeable and friendly. We have just visited the practice as an emergency patient and met Ian Williams today who was equally as knowledgeable, friendly and accommodating. Brilliant dental practice, we would recommend them to anyone.

Was seen by my Dentist, Alex, after I managed to crack a tooth that had a filling in it. She removed the filling and the broken bits and was able to rebuild a white tooth on what was left. She has done an amazing job and was very meticulous, taking time and care to do an excellent job. It looks just like the real thing. Thank you so much. Can highly recommend her. Lovely, helpful staff at the practice too.

Fantastic practice! I am one who is often terrified going due to a string of bad experiences, but what a game changer this practice is! Clean, professional and friendly team all round. And all the work I've had done with the Dentist Ian Williams has been painless and quick! I highly recommend to anyone looking for a dentist here in Exeter.

I visited Ian Williams, who was recommended to me by a friend, to discuss whether I would be a candidate for composite bonding. Ian spent a lot of time discussing this with me and finished the consultation by doing a mock up" to show me how my teeth could look if i were to proceed. I was very happy with the result so booked in to have the work done the following week. I am absolutely delighted with the results - the bonds are an exact colour match and blend in with my own teeth perfectly. The work has made such a difference to my smile and my confidence and I would not hesitate to recommend Ian to anyone who is considering this procedure."

I had an emergency appointment today at 8.40 with Martin. I was quite anxious as had toothache for the past week and knew that it was not going to be good news. It wasn’t! I decided to go ahead and have my wisdom tooth out there and then. I can honestly say I was amazed how painless and quickly it was all over! I cannot praise Martin and his dental nurse highly enough, they were kind and explained everything. It is now 14hrs since the extraction and I have no bleeding and no pain.I have had check ups, cleaning, X-rays and now an extraction and not one visit has been painful, even the receptionist’s are lovely.I cannot recommend this practice highly enough.Lynn Brown
