Lyons Design & Build

I am considering having my kitchen and adjoining garden/TV room reconfigured and refurbished and asked Tess and Chris to consult on possible designs and costs. Tess listened carefully to my original ideas and produced 3 interesting and creative 3D computer models which really helped me to visualise the ideas and potential for the rooms. Following an initial survey, they produced a very detailed breakdown of costs which allowed me to pick the design that made the most sense practically and economically, as well as creatively. Tess has followed this up with additional information and help and currently, I am considering my options for the actual build.Tess and Lyons Design have been highly professional and friendly in all of their interactions, supportive and clearly recognising the enormity of the commitment for me of the potential work. I would definitely recommend them for anyone needing some help with design, looking at options and initiating a building project.

Tess has been great throughout the whole planning process. She took our slightly vague ideas about what we thought we wanted and showed us what was possible with the space. She gave us so many ideas that we would never have thought of on our own and gave us lots of different potential versions of the finished project for us to consider and choose from.We have just started our build and it is great to have a clear vision of what it will look like and how to get there.Thanks Tess for all your hard work on our project over the last few months.

Having the design and complete build from start to finish was exactly what we were looking for. A complete overhaul . Tess delivered some great designs and gave us confidence that all was going to run smoothly. The building work was done to the highest standard and was seamlessly project managed for us. All of the different tradespeople that they brought in were very professional and highly skilled. I would definitely recommend them.

Easy and approachable Tess was a joy to deal with. The designs she produced for our project were very clever and imaginative and made maximum use of the space and were nothing like what we came up with, they were so much better. The icing on the cake was the ability to see it all in 3D and the easy manipulation of the plans/ideas on screen in our meetings and afterwards was brilliant.

I really enjoyed working with Tess on plans for my house renovation. She was extremely professional, honest, creative and knowledgeable about the process. I felt she went above and beyond to help me with my plans and although I didn't end up completing the process, it was for the best and on Tess's advice. She was extremely honest and fair. We were looking into getting a loft conversion but didn’t really know where to start, a family member recommended Lyons design and build. Tess was very personable from day one explained what the service covered and reassured us that we could get what we were looking for within our budget. We originally had in mind 2 small double bedrooms but with the help of Tess’s vision and a few suggestions to reconfigure our first floor we knew we had a design that would work better for our family. The design went from 2 small double rooms to good size master and open plan en-suite. We are very excited to see it all come to life. Tess is patient and wanted to ensure we had a design that we were happy with, we would not hesitate to recommend.

Embarking on creating a kitchen /diner and installing a downstairs cloakroom in my new Victorian home is a daunting prospect. I have a limited budget and need to get it right!Tess has helped me to articulate my ideas, decide on a budget and focus on what I really want and need in the space I plan to live in for many years.
