Moved here from another local store thinking it may be more convenient but actually it's proved to be a bit of a hassle! Three attempts at getting contact lenses having paid three months in advanced and already nearly a month down. When you call you tend to get a this is what the computer says response and staff do not seem confident in what they are saying, I appreciate this is a new store, however staff members need to be confident in what they are doing even more so when the store is new. Cannot complain about the actual eye test side of things, the optometrist was knowledgeable and very informative.

Jemma and Jack were both incredibly friendly, helpful and offered excellent customer service. I had no idea the store had been open less than a week! For a small store; it has everything and I found 2 pairs of frame which fit my massive head! Win!

Have only just been for test and advised to collect glasses a week later. Recived a phone call afternoon before collection and told that there was a delay I was not too happy . Problems at the lab and they didn't know when collection would be available. Guy on the phone didn't sound too happy when I said I wasn't pleased. I received a phone call the following afternoon to say they were ready,they left a message. I tried to phone back and was waiting on line at call centre for 35 mins. When I did get through the guy Ben seemed to think it was funny that I had been waiting so long. Really not impressed.

This was my wife's first eye exam in over a decade. The new store had only recently opened and was spacious and bright. It was a simple and speedy process, and everyone on the team was friendly and courteous. The optometrist director walked her through all of the exams and described the details of the photographs, giving her a better understanding of what she was seeing on the screens.

The optometrist was thorough and took the time to address all my concerns, ensuring I felt comfortable throughout the eye exam. The wide selection of frames made choosing the perfect pair a breeze, and the associate provided valuable insights. Despite a busy day, the service remained efficient. Overall, I highly recommend Specsavers Castlepoint for their outstanding customer service and comprehensive eye care.
