Chinese Supermarket Cmart Oriental Food Store

A compact Chinese supermarket. It is in a convenient location if you are living in in town centre. Shop is very small, so it will be crowded if you go there during weekend. The most important bit is it has a variety of Chinese, Korean, hong Kong snacks if you fancy them but don't want to drive out of town.The stock that they are selling in store and online are slightly different but it is not a big issue if you do not have any specific item needed.

Good oriental shop with lots of ingredients to make your own Asian dishes at home. There are lots of different ramens, teas, sweets and spices and there are freezers for all the frozen items. It is a small place but there is everything inside!

The shop was packed when I went, no social distance adhered at all and no attempts to stop additional people from coming in. They were selling a lot of out of date stuff for a cheap price which I avoided but turns out I still managed to buy something out of date

Worst customer service I've ever experienced. When you order online there is no way of selecting a delivery date. They don't contact you in any way to let you know when they will deliver, they just turn up (even though the order confirmation explicitly states they will notify you when delivery is ready). Absolute shambles of a way to run a grocery delivery service. They also get really defensive if anyone tries to complain (see all other low-star reviews, plus the absolutely nonsensical answer to this review - I've never ordered frozen food from them? Really weird response. Also, the Monday and Friday delivery" is hidden in their "shipping information" page

Great little shop with a decent range of items at reasonable prices. But sadly it's been involved in a fire now.EDITIt now has a new location in Lower Earley opposite Asda!!

Great chinese food items at a very good price even found noodles I haven't had in a long time

one of my favourite shops in Reading, they sell things with a smaller shelf life for a very reduced price which is great to see, means things won't go to waste. shop is small, so can get quite packed at times, but it says outside not to have more than 6 in at one time, so anyone complaining here about no social distancing should probably just wait.great selection of ramen, mochi, and assorted snacks and drinks. all around great shop! staff are always lovely as well :)
