Holm House

We booked for Sunday lunch in the restaurant for a non guest table for two.First impressions: the decor was a little tired ( paintwork needing some attention on the walls re; chips and age related degredation) also poorly lacquered tables showing a drip edged finish ( our nice hot plates stuck to this surface).The salmon starter was beautiful, however the one main beef order was inedibly tough ( just awful and sinewy poor quality meat, the carving chef would have known this as he was plating) thankfully this dish was deducted from the bill. The cauli cheese had a watery sauce, and my lamb was at best acceptable due to some rather chewy slices. The gravy was good, rich, and tasty, and the green veg were cooked perfectly and accompanied by excellent voluminous yorkies(thankyou) however, we received no check back after service.Guys

I have stayed here many times - as a elderly woman on her own. The last time was 2 weeks ago. The staff were very tentative to my needs - as I was visiting my son in hospital.....They were exceptional in everyway making sure my stay was memorable. Rooms are excellent - very individual. Dining room facilities were very good. The food and beverage and choices extremely good.I took advantage of using the Spa facilities to unwind after spending a full day visiting the hospital. Again the Spa staff were lovely and professional in every way. The garden was emaculate and the view to die for.....All in all. I would definitely recommend a stay at Holm House Hotel. Penarth.

Hands down has to be the best hotel i have stayed in after the shard in london. The room, breakfast , service was all amazing. We booked for 1 night as a stop on our journey but will be returning to fully enjoy this amazing place.

The most perfect stay. Booked the autumn spa deal for my best friends birthday with sea view room. Room is immaculate, gorgeous view with a bathtub in our room. Felt very luxurious and so clean! Whole experience was made to feel very personal and attention to detail was amazing. Complimentary drinks in the relaxation lounge and we had the pool to ourselves prior to our treatment where there were two towels left for us. Breakfast this morning was also lush, not only do you get a choice of a breakfast from the menu but a buffet style spread to choose pastries, toasts, spreads, cereals, juices etc. Quality here is incredible from the food to the service to the building itself. Definitely coming back and 100% recommend. Value for money is insane !

Oh my goodness, let me tell you about my awesome experience at Holm House! This place is straight-up amazing, no joke. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with the coolest vibes by the incredible host, Klaudia. She made us feel like rockstars right off the bat.Now let's talk about the food, because it blew my mind! Gwilym and Gregory, the restaurant staff, deserve a standing ovation. They served us some seriously mouthwatering dishes that had my taste buds doing a happy dance. But let me tell you, the breakfast was next-level epic. It was a breakfast dream come true!And don't even get me started on the staff. These folks were so friendly and welcoming, it felt like we were part of their super cool crew. They were always there, ready to help with a smile and some serious positive vibes. It made our stay feel like a holm away from home.Okay, let's talk about the spa. The swimming pool might be small, but it's seriously cozy and intimate. I loved how it created this chill atmosphere where you could just unwind and forget about the world. Trust me, it's the perfect spot to relax and soak up some good vibes.So, if you're looking for a seriously rad hotel experience, Holm House is where it's at. The food is mind-blowing, the staff is mega friendly, and the spa is all about those cozy vibes. I'm telling you, this place is the real deal, and you won't want to leave once you're there. We didn't stay at Holm House. We had a fantastic meal in your beautiful restaurant. We were very impressed with the food , service and more important your staff. Everyone was so helpful and kind. We would like to shine a light on Harrison as our friend was over from Holland.. and he welcomed her in her own language, she was blown away, and he was knowledgeable about Holland too. Holm House overlooking Penarth and the Bristol Channel, on a good day you can see Weston super Mare across the sea. Celebrating a 55th Wedding Anniversary with friends was a lovely venue and location for the celebration where the views are lovely. Food was excellent and a lovely pot of tea to finish. Plenty of sitting areas to make self comfortable. Dining room well appointed with sliding glass/wooden doors where you are able to experience the outside without being in the beautiful gardens they have there. It is well worth walking around the gardens or if the weather is good sitting with a drink to experience them. Holm House is a Hotel and has a Spa facility and Wedding Venue.

We went for lunch yesterday, the staff, food and service were amazing also lovely grounds to the rear. Home house is not cheap but also it's not expensive considering the high standards and worth every penny. I would 100% recommend a visit

I've been here as a spa guest, a hotel guest and a wedding guest and I can say Holm House ticked all the boxes each time. A beautiful building, with well kept grounds. Gorgeous views and a lovely peaceful atmosphere. However I've been here the service has been second to none with all members of staff being attentive, friendly and welcoming. The spa is wonderful, as we're the treatments we received. The rooms as spacious, clean and modern. The food is always great quality. At my most recent visit I attended a full day wedding. Everything ran very smoothly and it was an absolute fabulous day.
