Tried an Indian meal deal for two. The chicken tikka masala was poor, very mild, the ch. jalfrezi was under spiced,the nan bread was hard and dry after 2 minutes on the table the rice and onion bhagies.ok.Quite poor really.

Cute little store, compared to the bigger stores this holds the old style of j sainsburys which is actually a better atmosphere to walk into

I don't go all the time but pop in for certain things that the budget stores don't do. A couple of examples are very nice quality coffee big bags good value for money, same goes for spices. I also get big bags of frozen mixed berries for my overnight oats again best value ones in Darwen area. They actually taste like fruit.

Store was cluttered, stock seemed low, short staffed and only one checkout in use causing many customer complaints. Take a leaf out of Booths book and get shut of the self service.

The staff are not nice at all very rude and unprofessional and also very snotty I go there because I live close and it’s convenient for me to shop there but I always feel uncomfortable and it’s not the right way to make your customers feelI’m not the only one that feels that way I have spoken to a lot of people in Darwen and even single one felt exactly the same as I do…. This is something the manager has to change it’s been going on for years and when Covid was around in the beginning they were even worse or shall I say obnoxious?!

Very poor now. Had a trolley load and got to checkout.All were busy and two large trollies full in front of me so I just left.No manned tills which is very poor when it's busy.Also new cabinets are awful to see stuff in.Staff are excellent so it's 1 star otherwise it would be zero.My advice would be to load your trolley up and then leave it.

Good store to shop for able bodied people, Unfortunately for disabled people who use two walking sticks it is not easy to shop or pay for goods. Reason being it auto cash payment machines and trying to hold on to two walking sticks and auto pay for goods?,Need I say more on this subject.
