Comedy Carnival Clapham
First time at a comedy club, and I would definitely return.Clapham Was underneath the railway arches and a nice atmosphere with the stage at one end, and a bar to serve drinks in the interval. The compair (?) start of the evening off and got everybody in a good mood in readiness for the first act which was very funny.Pattern of the night is 3 comedians and intervals and lots of laughs. The bar prices are reasonable and overall a good night which is a little bit different would definitely recommend and go back

We went to this club for a friend's 30th birthday and it rocked! The comedy was piss funny the whole night. The funniest part was some chatty drunk girls at the front who the comedians handled beautifully.Awesome venue with great comedy. i would definitely recommend this place for a saturday night out.

Had a blast at the Saturday show! Got there around 7:20pm to bag a good seat and the place was bustling by 8pm. Really impressed with all the acts and the MC was great at keeping the atmosphere going. I laughed so hard I was crying! It is a club venue (tickets includes partying after) which means the drink selection was quite basic, but the house Merlot and beers were good enough.

Our second visit to Comedy Carnival at the Grand in Clapham (nicely opposite Clapham Junction Station). My wife and I love the Grand as a building, great architecture and have fond memries of seeing the late Jeff Healey in concert there around 19 years ago. What a good deal, the ticket price (some (£17.00) gives you a format that includes 3 top comedians, plus comic compere. Seating is all relatively close to the stage, so even though the venue is spacious you get the required air of intimacy that all good comedy venues thrive on. It gets better, the staff are all nice and the drinks are cheap in terms of standard London prices. The wines are decent, it just goes on........Things to moan about. well you buy 'Reserved seats' on line and then you cant reserve your seats, someone does it for you. Sure enough we were front row and just off centre, right in the 'Line of fire'. In our 50's my wife and I were the oldest people in the venue. I can't help that, I grew up in comedy clubs just as the wave of talent that brought us Jo Brand, Paul Merson, Jack Dee et al was breaking and I love comedy as an art form. Still we were given a bit of stick for being oldies. That was no problem, but I think reserved seating should let you choose roughly where you want to be.Still it was a great night with the talent on show really up to spec. After enduring 1.5 hours of suffering with the ticket master website and customer service I now hopefully have tickets for the 16th March, my sons 18th Birthday night out. He's a comedy addict, where else will I take him?Keep up the good workGary

Came here on a voucher deal for 8 quid each. Had a wonderful evening especially with the 2 pound glasses of wine! the comedy is very good quality. Although you may have one hit and miss comedian on one night the quality of the others and the MCs make up for it and you end up leaving with sore checks and a bit grin over your face. Do visit these smaller comedy venues but also try the comedy store in piccadilly at least once, although expensive it is clearly the leader in london comedy!

Went with my partner, had a great evening full of fun and laughter. Location was easy to get to and all 3 comedians on set were fantastic in their own ways. Would recommend.

Easy and casual evening in an under the arches venue. Compare held the night all together and was interspersed with the three different styles of comedy acts. It was an last minute decision to come to this night but we'll definitely come again.

We had a great evening’s entertainment on 15 January 2022 at the Comedy Carnival, Lit club in Clapham. The three comedians and the MC were all hilarious and they created a fantastic atmosphere. The whole evening was well organised and the bar staff very efficient. All in all a wonderful evening.

Great Bar, Excellent Location... was Enjoying the Host who was very talented and all the acts with my husband and best friend. We were celebrating her birthday. All the comics were talking to us and we were giving them great energy in return. Then intermission came, one of the staff pulled us aside and warned us to refrain from our commentary as if we were being distruptive. Called us hecklers " and when we asked what we had done wrong he blamed us for another person's comment and told us it was ruining the comics set. This sort of ruined our experience as we went back with a positive attitude to enjoy the rest of the show as we were now afraid of laughing too loud or being ourselves. We were afraid to make any noise and it made it really awkward for us. I didn't appreciate being reprimanded as if we did harm to anyone as we were very respectful ."
