I've been with this practice for some years and have always been seen when I needed to be, and got support when needed.I have found eConsult to be far more efficient than waiting on the phone - about the only good thing to come out of C19! - the practice responds within hours usually.

I've been with this surgery for almost 3 years and thank goodness I'm moving out of the area.I visited the surgery almost 3 months ago with severe sciatic pain and pain in my hip. The doctor told me they were referring me for an X-ray and that I should have an appointment through in a couple of weeks. After hearing nothing for a month, I rang back and was fobbed off and told to ring the hospital - couldn't get through.Rang the doctors again today (now almost 3 months after countless attempts at chasing) to find out I was never actually referred.I've been registered at a few different surgeries over the past 15 years, and this is by far the worse

The is the first time I called this GP. After 40 minutes’ waiting, I got the the real voice. And the results were quite useless. The receptionist was quite rude. She pretended like she didn’t understand me and hung up when I was still saying my concerns. I feel very depressed to have this call.

This surgery has been fantastic through the pandemic. I was diagnosed with a health condition recently and the receptionists, nurses and doctors have advised and supported me through this process. I used E-Consult to ask questions, order prescriptions, request a phone call and every time a member of the team have been in touch the same day to help me. Their visiting pharmacists have also been super helpful and imparted their knowledge of my condition. A special mention to Wasim for taking the time to listen, solve my prescription troubles and offer advice when asked. Without the whole team, the last few months would have been extremely stressful coming to terms with my new normal.

I was in a car accident and was off sick, I am still waiting 7 days later for a sick note to be given to me by Dr Khan! I have chased this all week after being told I will have my fit note by Thursday 6:30pm and we’re on Monday 6pm now and still haven’t received anything! I was ringing the surgery all last week and after waiting in the queue 20 mins each time I was first in queue the receptionist would answer and terminate the call. When I finally got through another receptionist told me to wait till 6pm and call back regarding my fit note, when I rang back it said phone line closed so I physically went to the surgery and was banging on the door and gurt the senior receptionist spoke to me and confirmed that by Friday he will sort this for me, I got a call from him on Friday saying on Monday dr khan will look into this at 12pm, well lo and behold I still have no fit note to show work and they are asking me for this in order to confirm my absence. I contacted hurt today again to let him know I still haven’t received this and he told me that dr khan will get to it when he can during surgery open hours, we’ll they’re closed now and I still have no sms or email to let me know what’s going on. After letting gurt know my concerns he said they have new staff receptionist who have been giving me the wrong information and that he will resolve it and it still hasn’t been resolved. I even explained I am a single parent and struggling due to my accident and they’re was no sympathy or empathy for the situation iv been put in. A fit note is to take time off to get yourself better to go back to work but iv spent my week off work being hassled by work chasing a sick note and calls being made to the surgery chasing my sick note and still nothing. Disappointment is not even the word.

Can’t even book in for a vaccine as they’re all booked. Considering moving practice if they have no space here

If you actually want your prescription I suggest looking for a different doctors, Every time I attempt to reorder my eczema cream they would always say oh you have to come in for an appointment for considering I was in just a little before Christmas for the exact same cream and when I have to wait weeks to get the cream my skin goes worse so its practically pointless anyway its a complete p take. I shall defiantly be finding a different doctors instead of these. p.s the receptionist are really nice and help to the best of their ability. Thanks

My partner was offered a physio appointment for severe leg pain without even being examined, he could have had a blood clot or anything but the doctor tried to send him to physio without even physically seeing my partners leg let alone examining it. Finally got an appointment and prescription but the prescription still hasn't appeared at the chemist. Receptionists are rude and like to pretend the signal is going so they can hang up. Clearly zero communication between doctors and reception. Told my partner hadn't had a repeat blood test which he had as I was there for both, they don't seem to have a clue what's happening 98% of the time. Avoid avoid AVOID

Been a registered patient here for over 35 years and I have seen lots of changes partly due to the pandemic; from the way services are provided by increased use of digital technology - telephone consultations, econsult, SMS messaging and accessing their website (which has also improved recently and is simpler to navigate) to the building being extended and renovated (the new automatic doors at the entrance to the building are a great help when you have mobility needs and opening doors are a challenge and improving the layout of the carpark being a few examples) and new staff members. On the whole I have had good service from every member of staff whether clinical or non clinical. All staff members take the time to get to know you as a person not just a name or number and listen to your problem/s in a polite and timely manner. It is very much appreciated when you have a long term condition and very often need to discuss/explain issues in great detail. This has been extremely necessary during and since the pandemic as I have only used their website, econsult, SMS or telephone services, I haven't seen any of the staff in person for over 3 years. Now I have had increased contact with the surgery face to face due to a change in my own circumstances and a period of illness and everyone has been most helpful and it has been nice to put faces to voices. Thank you Dr Khan, Dr Tang and EVERYONE else at Lindley Village Surgery.
