Lovely little racecourse in County Durham well worth a visit if Horse Racing is your thing close to the town of Sedgefield which has some cracking pubs and a nice park Hardwick Park we enjoyed our time at the races and are planning to come back soon

Visitors from another ARC course. We were made to feel extremely welcome and everyone was very friendly. Very nice bar area and places to buy food. Very pleasant afternoon in a lovely setting. Would definitely visit again.

Just attended the car show, stuck in a queue to get in to show for just under an hour, just one entrance! Strange as I counted two additional gates before getting to the car park entrance, (both locked) entrance via the one used for boot sales. Some young official sent me the wrong way and ended up in the gravel pit area (down the bottom where the boot sale is), which is dusty as hell, (not good when you've just spent a day polishing your car).Quite shocked to see the state of the gravel that I'd just drove across littered with nail's, screws, broken glass (picture attached).Come on organizers people who bring their cars to shows like this really care for their cars, and could do without having to replace an ultra low profile tyre because it's shredder on dogey hard standing!Shame as it was quite a good show, with some interesting cars, a bright orange mini roadster with a Kawasaki bike engine in, a Nissan Micra pickup, an ultra low powder blue Nissan PAO (cool, never seen one of those before), some canny VW vans as well.Just 2 stars as organization needs to massively improve plus the hard standing nail grave yard needs sorting. Could be a really great show in the future though.Hat off to the show Cars as their owners had them gleaming, you could see a lot of hard work had gone in to the presentation.Would I go next time?Probably, (but not in the gravel pit) as the show has potential to improve.

Went here because I got tickets to the ladies day, it was packed so the parking had moved to a field where you could park. My mother is disabled so she tried to turn to go to the entrance of the grounds but a really rude and disrespectful member of staff first of all jumping into our path forcing my mom to break and almost get hit by a passing car. Other than this incident the grounds was alright food was good only other problem was that I'm a big person and the only seating available outdoors were plastic chairs which I was afraid would break

They allow you to do Young drivers here and it’s quite good. Its a bit small so you can only go into gears 1/2 but good for having fun or starting to learn the basics for the kids.

Great little course where everything is accessible easily. What let's it down is the price for facilities. We paid £16 for a grandstand ticket (reduction if booked in advance.) Problem is the grandstand area consists of around 10 steps. There is a separate slightly larger area but you cannot see the finish line, only visible on the screen opposite from around 1/2 furlong mark. Virtually no protection from the weather and as it's so open even a breeze feels like a gale. Half the course is not viewable due to undulations so again it's the screen. Coffee is sold from the back of a car and other facilities quite basic. At £10 it would be acceptable or provide better viewing facilities. Others will disagree but I can only tell you my feelings and will not return unless prices reduced, we actually left after the 3rd race due to no shelter. It's a shame as we live less than 10 miles away now and would have visited on a regular basis.
