After a fruitless search in Northern Ireland to find a supplier of York stone for my partner's gravestone (he was originally from Yorkshire, hence the choice of stone), his father contacted Johnsons Wellfield to see if they could help. They've been extremely helpful throughout the planning, cutting and delivery process. A big shout out especially to Joshua and Robbie for answering all my queries and making sure everything came to fruition in a timely fashion. I would highly recommend this company to everyone.

The stone from this quarry is just beautiful. A gorgeous soft honey buff sandstone with delicate veining and a soft hints of red and grey in places. I ordered c 45m2 to do a large patio area, stone steps and path as well some walling stone. It looks sensational. I cannot thank Joshua, Nick and the cutting and dispatch teams enough for their incredible customer service. They were so helpful when I was measuring up the requirements. Knowledgeable and happy to answer any question - I ended up with the right amount and no wastage. It was all packed with great care; not a single chip on any slab. Even delivery went without a hitch when everyone else was struggling with lack of HGV drivers. Everything I had hoped for when buying a premium landscaping product. I'm so happy with the result I'm now thinking of doing a spot more dry stone walling on the front ...

My landscaper initially put the Crosland hill buff forward for my paving. I was apprehensive about the stone as the price was at the top end of my budget, but after speaking to a couple of people at Johnsons my mind was put at ease. Now the paving has been installed, I'm over the moon with the result. I can't thank Joshua and the team at Johnsons Wellfield enough. Lovely stone that is harder than Cotswold sandstone (where we're from) but looks so at home here. After nine years alas we have moved but the patios still looked so good. We bought the stone for our garden from Johnsons on the advice of our contractor and have to say that it was a great decision. We had a number of technical challenges along the way as we were designing everything ourselves but the help and advice we received was brilliant. Even the driver couldn't have been more helpful and moved several pallets of bricks for us that had been delivered onto our drive. Very professional service, Thank you Johnsons.
