Nightingale Lodge Care Home - Black Swan Care Group

I have worked at Nightingale Lodge for 3 years now and have gained a lot of experience here. All of the residents are happy and content with the staff. I often take the residents out on day trip to the Sealife centre, cafes, parks or any other requested place. The resident enjoy 1-1 time with the staff and we have all built up a good rapport with the residents. I enjoy coming into work and even plan things with the residents on my day off. Sometimes workplaces say we are one big family but at Nightingale Lodge it actually is! The residents are at the centre of everything we do. The company is always providing support and opportunities to the staff and have given me numerous opportunities in order to better myself and achieve higher all in aid of my future. I started as a carer and am now a deputy manager through their performance management scheme. I never though I would enjoy working with the elderly but I couldn't imagine doing anything else now.
