“Daddy burger” absolutely delicious, huge, juicy burger, not overcooked but is only for customers who truly appreciate what a real burger should taste like!! Not your run of the mill high street rubbish & completed with a soft, fresh, burger bap, not some tasteless, plastic doughy excuse for one. Excellent flavour all round, fresh ingredients and amazing sauce to top it off.The milkshake was also outstanding & great to see a whole banana used for an authentic flavour not out of a bottle.Service was quick and kept informed of when it was ready on screen.Staff were very friendly & professional - can’t believe the review about hygiene and handling cash as The Butcher is cashless (see website), highly recommended, no complaints at all & will definitely be back!!

I was a little disappointed of the food. The burger bun was burnt black on the inside and the Mozarella Sticks were missing the cheese, probably leaked out to the fryer. The sweet potato fries were ok.

We visited for a 50th birthday celebration. The food was great, and the burgers are fantastic!! The whole experience in The Butcher and Urban Playground was fab, we will definitely book again.

I went there following a review from MEN, but I wasn’t impressed at all. The burger was fine and has some interesting choices of ingredients. It was honestly priced and despite it wasn’t an out-of-this-world burger, it was still pleasant to eat and left a good aftertaste. Unfortunately, the service was too slow. We waited approximately 30 minutes, despite we were the only 2 clients at the time. Chips and drinks were overpriced (£3 for a 330ml can of coke that costs them 26p and £4.5 for a portion of fries) and therefore I decided not to have them. To be fair, I’m not a big fan of long waits or overpriced drinks and that’s why I did not order anything else. If their prices were honest, I would have bought a drink, fries, a dessert and they would have definitely earned more. On top of that, for the full time I was there, the staff was handling cash, touching various items and preparing food and drinks, without washing their hands. I was honestly concerned about the food hygiene standards. I am afraid I will not go back.

Come here today for some food with my friend and the staff behind the counter where so unhelpful and rude.Was sent to the bar then told can order online but I wouldn’t because it’s a 45 min wait. The pace had literally 10 people in total in. The staff member behind the counter seemed like he just wanted us to leaveI also asked Another member if staff for some help but she just walked off.Upset because I visit the butcher in amsterdam a lot due when visiting family and my initial experience I’ve had here was terrible.

The burgers actually look like the pictures and are tasty as, one of the best iv had. Chips are thick and very well salted, hot and fresh, mozerella sticks are delicious. We played the cube and got 20% off. Staff really friendly had a great few hours here.*edit after placing review above. My husband ended up ill and throwing up after eating here, stars dropped*

What an amazing experience, we came in to play the mini golf. Then we grabbed some food from the butcher, I had the daddy burger and that suited me fine. Juicy well cooked burger. The staff were so friendly we will be back.

I came from Mexico to Manchester to visit family and especially went out of my way to try this place after hearing such great things. The burger was juicy and not overcooked (like most places), the fries were nicely seasoned and I absolutely love the chicken bites. The guy (I think running the kitchen) with ginger hair and glasses was super friendly and helpful when I had questions about the food regarding my allergies. He made me feel confident in the order I placed when usually when I go out to eat, it is a massive concern
