Plymouth Yacht Charter

Plymouth Yacht Charter is run by David Franklin and Sea Shanty, a Bavaria 36, is owned and sailed by him. The whole process, from booking to handover and through to check out was smooth and professional. We have chartered all over and David's attention to detail is unmatched. Everything on Sea Shanty simply worked and she was easily handled by us as a couple. The boat's inventory reflects the fact that David and his wife cruise on this boat and, unlike so many other charter boats, we found everything we needed. David was happy for us to bring our sea dog on the only condition that she left no trace on departure. This was easy to achieve as Sea Shanty has a super effective vacuum cleaner on board! The Devon and Cornwall coast offers plenty of choice and we had no problem berthing in Falmouth, Fowey, Dartmouth and Salcombe. The harbour masters at each place are expert at making sure everyone is berthed no matter how busy it may get. We would recommend Plymouth Yacht Charter above the usual big charter companies and, with the delights of Devon and Cornwall, ignore the temptation of going abroad!!

We have chartered Sea Shanty twice this year, the owner David is a great guy, very professional and easy to get on with. Sea Shanty is superb, sails very well and is very safe in all weathers. Top Mark's all round!!
