I highly recommend David to anyone looking for new headshots! He is very friendly and made a comfortable environment. I love that he took his time to really work on getting great photos that reflected my personality and the results truly show how fantastic a headshot photographer he is!

Absolutely one of the best photographers I have worked with to date. So warm and welcoming he made me feel at ease from the moment I walked into his studio. I had so much fun and the The photo's came out amazing (though I am having trouble narrowing down for the final edits [nearly 900 photos to sort through lol]). I would highly recommend especially If you are looking for a variety of different set ups. I did five in total and that took up the whole 2 hours. David Yiu photography was so much more than I had expected. When I first arrived he made me feel so welcomed and at home. We talked while we had a nice cuppa about what sort of styles I wanted in my headshot photos. After he understood, this he got to work. I was impressed at his skills and resources of creating the look I wanted. I also liked his direction in guiding me towards a variety of different facial expressions. He gave me time to change clothes and re-style my hair. I felt so comfortable with David because of his warm and friendly character. As well this I can see that he has a deep passion for photography and sense of pride in his work. I was extremely pleased with the finish product which he was able to send me the next day. I love my photos. I think he has done a fantastic job in creating the look I wanted, in fact he has exceeded my expectations. I am going to recommend him to other actors and friends and I will definitely be booking him again in the future.

David is brilliant. I have had headshots done a few times and it can either be amazing or a bit of a disaster. David knows how to talk to his clients and really get to the bottom of what they need and he keeps the session light but focused. I really felt like I was in good hands. I had chosen him based on other reviews and he did not let me down. He was also very communicative during the selection and retouching process. I definitely recommend a session with him!

Booked David Yiu for actors headshots for myself and my family a few times. He’s got a good creative eye for what works , professional and easy to get on with, my kid had a lot of fun in their shoot too.

I went to David to get my first ever head shots done. He immediately made me feel at ease and we've had a great session. I've also got to know a lot more about photo shoots and little tricks and tweaks which already prove to be helpful in my normal life. David is very helpful, easygoing and really knows what he is doing. l can only recommend him and his work!

My headshot session with David was brilliant from start to finish. I have worked with David on several occasions and think he’s one of the friendliest, most chilled yet focused photographers I know. On this occasion though, it was the first time he was shooting me, so I was a bit apprehensive! But he couldn’t have made things easier. First, he treated me to a great cuppa and we discussed what I was after, and during the 2 hours or so session we shot with a couple of different backdrops and wardrobe changes. David is super pro, he knew exactly what to look for and what to say to get the best look or smile out me (thanks to some ridiculous jokes!), and it’s so nice that his studio is actually in his home, right next to his garden and cats, and easily accessible by train. After the session, David was super diligent in downloading the photos online, and the final photos I chose were retouched within 24 hours. All in all, a stellar experience with a very talented guy! Cannot recommend enough.
