Another World Adventure Centre

Fantastic for the little one’s, we had an absolute ball, this was our first visit and will definitely call again.The staff were really friendly and helpful, we had a few sandwiches and they were really nice too, an all round great day out.

Staff not very nice in attitude.Very pricey not much really to do there. Waited for instructors to tell us what's the next thing after first game, no one turned up. Field for sledging very small for a family of 4.

Not my first visit to Another World, but my first time writing a review about my visit.Today I visited for the Xmas Fayre and had a Hot chocolate with cream and marshmallows too.Always a warm welcome, it's so beautiful there too - can't believe I'm lucky enough to have this so close to home.I'll be back again soon.Thanks guys xxx

We spent the day there for their big weekend and it was fantastic. The staff were fun, patient and helpful. The food was lovely. And the activities were brilliantly entertaining. Great day.

Corporate Away DayWhilst looking for venues for our annual corporate away day/communications event, we received a recommendation for the Another World Adventure Centre Halifax and it was clear from our first communication with Andrew as to why we had received the recommendation. Communication with the team is excellent and they are amazingly slick at pulling together a great away day for you based around your needs and requirements.On arrival we were able to have breakfast in a lovely cabin setting. We held a morning session where we needed screens and projectors and somewhere for staff to be seated whilst we presented. This was accommodated within a marquee which was fabulous and well equipped with what we needed for our presentations and a First Aid training session we held.We were lucky with the weather and the team adapted their space to take advantage of that and we held lunch outside in a lovely patio area.The afternoon could not have been more fun, the whole team was smiling all afternoon and organisation and timing that Andrew put into the sessions was great and meant that we had a good selection of activities to keep everyone happy and interested all afternoon, with 70 staff to please it was a real success when everyone commented about what a fantastic time they had.Andrew and his team make you feel extremely welcome and part of everything, the activities were fabulous and the space amazing and very adaptable.We ended the day with a legendary bbq provided by Andrew and his team and it did not disappoint, great selection and flavoursome food and accommodated our various dietary requirements.Honestly, I would not hesitate to recommend the venue for any corporate event and completely understand why we received a word of mouth recommendation. The team are great at what they do and what they provide and it means you can more of less reel off your requirements and leave all of the hard work to them – they do not make it look like it is on the day, they all look like they are having a great time too!Caroline TomlinsonPractice ManagerLopian Gross Barnett & Co

We've been there twice and our kids of 7 and 9 love it. The people are friendly and it's a low key way to do some semi thrilling outdoor activities.What child can fail to enjoy tobogganing down a track, shooting real bows and arrows, and shooting paintballs at an old car using a catapult.Basic, wholesome fun. Long may it live

We had an absolute ball! I took my nephew and his friend, my sister, and our mum for paintballing, archery, and tobogganing, followed by lunch. The staff were nice, the activities were well-explained and great fun, it was organised really well, and we enjoyed burgers and hot dogs (veggie available) on the picnic benches afterward. I’d definitely recommend it for all ages. Our youngest was 12, and our oldest 75!

Great time here. Helpful, fun staff. Gluten free burger was gorgeous. Kids loved it (and us big kids).Half an hour for each activity, which at first I thought wouldn't be long enough, but was just right. Food brought to your area. Great time. Thanks.
