Bennetts Butchers

agoOrdered from Bennetts a number of times now. Swapped from a more local supplier due to much better quality meat at similar prices.Had one issue with delivery which was quickly and efficiently sorted by Bennetts who went above and beyond to ensure it was received for when I needed it.Super Sunday is brilliant - a great way to try new cuts and marinades and the Facebook group is brilliant, full of tips and cooking advice. Great weekly offers - only problem is I’ve had to buy an additional freezer to store it all in! Have recommended to many friends and family 5*

Happened to be in Morley on Sun morning. Looked in the butchers window and saw how reasonable the meat was and how good it looked. Just eating my steak now and it is first class. So much better than supermarket meat

Bought 5 pork loin on Saturday looked nice quality in shop window when home opened bag and was disgusted at the quality of the meat. Three went straight in the bin as wasn't worth keeping and cooking. The other two were small and thin not at all like those in shop window. Will stick to supermarket from now on might be a bit dearer but quality is there.

I’ve been a customer of Bennetts for several years now. I would highly recommend Bennetts, the quality of meat is outstanding. The team are Specialists in signature joints for the perfect Sunday roast.Every Christmas Phil delivers without fail a wonderful Christmas Hamper, the meat is always fantastic and a fair price. Christmas wouldn’t be the same without Bennetts meat.It’s worth the trip from Hull to Morley to visit the shop to see and the team who make you feel welcome and offer a 5 star service, great knowledge and passion about the meat they sell.When I can’t make it to the shop, the team at Bennetts offer home delivery. Phil is the your local butcher nationwide. The meat always arrives on time and packed well to keep it fresh.Don’t just take me word for it, give Bennetts a go for yourself, you will not be disappointed.

Spent a lot of money on different products ie mixed grills, bacon lamb cutlets etc. Have no found any worth the money. Poor quality

Bought some chicken from here in July. The service was mediocre and it didnt look clean behind the counter. When I brought the chicken home if smelt off and was quite slimey. Doubt I'll be going there again.

I’ve been getting deliveries from Bennett’s now for about 18months ( I order about once a month) the quality of everything I’ve had has just been fantastic . The signature joints are brilliant fantastic steak and I loved the farm to fork beef. Keep up the great work and will be ordering again on Sunday.

I have ordered steaks on three occasions now. Each occasion there has been an issue either with quality or promised weight of meat.This time is the final straw. The first photo shows what was sold as Scottish Ribeye steak. The second shows what actually arrived. It bears no resemblance.Whenever I try to contact customer services I do not receive a response.

Your local butcher is supposed to be slightly cheaper than the supermarket, better quality and more welcoming. I could accept them failing on the price side as they're a smaller outfit but this lot fail miserably in every aspect.The staff are rough as a bears ar*e and as welcoming as a pack of hyenas. Up there with the worst customer experience I've ever had. While serving me, the lady behind the counter was discussing how another lady she knew was 'frigid'!! Didn't address me as a customer once. Unbelievable. Really classy. The prices are ludicrously high. 50% more expensive than the supermarket and the quality is worse than the supermarket. Will not be going back. Avoid.

Me and my daughter have just bought our first meat from Bennett's Morley shop. We ordered over the phone at lunchtime and our order was ready to pick up at 3pm the same day. I ordered half a pig, rump steaks and chicken breasts. The amount of meat I got for the money was amazing and really good quality. The pork chops are HUGE and so tasty. The chicken breasts are enormous. I haven't tried anything else yet but if it all tastes as good as it looks I'm sure it's all going to be great. I've been buying all my meat from supermarkets for years and have been putting up with thin, cardboardy chops that go dry when cooked but Bennett's were so thick and juicy. I can't wait to try everything else. The staff in the shop were really friendly and helpful - the gentleman even carried everything out to the car for us. He even gave my grandson some free sausages to try! I can't praise Bennett's enough and will use them for all my future meat purchases.
