Take your own bag!!!Often shop in this store as it’s generally better than the one in Sittingbourne. However, today I completed my shop as normal and at the self check out I had to ask for a bag from a member of staff- which she then walked with me back to my till and scanned the bag and then threw it down on the scales unopened and then instructed me to select no bag once I finished my shopping? I giggled and advised I have shopped in here before so do fortunately know how to use the scanner- but the delivering of my bag was new! She then claimed it’s because people keep stealing the bags!- but gave the wrongful impression that I was such one of those people!!?!?!?!? It made me feel uncomfortable and like I was being treated guilty for a crime I had not committed! Surely the cameras are in place and the security team are in place to prevent those things from happening!? You can even check my asda reward card and it will show how many bags I buy when I shop at asda! Really has discouraged me from asda altogether now- too expensive and treat you like a criminal over a 30p bag which would of been paid for???????

If you look at all the reviews, you will see they are all generic responses. Asda GEORGE sells clothes? We were informed that there were no changing facilities any futher by a young indifferent member of staff. I wouldn't recommend shopping there if you want to purchase clothes. The Cafeteria was also charging £5.00 for a small slice of pizza and a small portion of chips. If you did want to be ripped off you couldn't anyway as the fryer was also out of order? This is no way operationally to run a business. Perhaps if Asda listened and took on board their customers valid and genuine concerns they would be performing financially.

I gave this place 3 chances and today was enough. Rude staff. They need training and learn how to talk to people. They made me feel and my family like thieves. We were stopped even when no alarm came on.. Security guy had to check our receipts. He said he was asked by people to check our receipts even though we had quality check before we payed. From my side it was discriminations . I kept my cool because my daughter has special needs. Buy I will not step a foot in this horrible shop.

I'd like to thank Lou in Customer Service for great service.I went there yesterday to make a return on an electrical item that stopped working less than a year after purchase. There were no quibbles - Lou just asked for my receipt and promptly made the refund.I went back again to ask about the returns policy on specific items. Once again, Lou provided prompt service.Finally, having finished my shopping and with a full trolley, I found that the cab service that customers can call from the store was unreachable. As the phone is located next to Customer Service, I told Lou - and, yes, he fixed it! He called another cab service to pick me up.This is the kind of service that's been missing in the UK for a while now. Thank you Lou for demonstrating that pockets of this still exist.

Went in for shopping this morning. Top of till says cash & card. When we were going to made payment cash it was not allowing us to pay cash and lady said its card only when clearly on top the got on cash & card. Then lady was very rude and un professional. She said if you want complain speak to manager and manager is not in today, I have to come in tomorrow to put complain. She didn't help us at very rude.

I didn't really like asda (only for cheap sweet treats), but after the opposite Lidl closed in June, i started going here more often, its a lovely large store, almost empty around 2pm weekdays. Good choice and cheap foods. Staff are friendly and very helpful. Overall a good shopping experience week in week out

Disabled parking is not always available, regularly abused by other car users. Toilets are disgustingly dirty, as always.Self scanners are not always available. There are not enough replaced by staff for recharging.Store mobility scooters are not regularly available. Many are not replaced back on charge by staff.Management needs to review how and when scanners and scooters need to be charged.A good variety of well priced products.Later edit; visited again today (12/12/23), what a mess, disabled toilet out of order, and in the men's toilet, only one cubicle available.Still no change. When will this store get things in order, and provide hygienic and accessible toilets for all?If I visit in another two weeks, after the Christmas chaos, will it still be the same?

I’m not sure if it’s just me but this is the second time I’m being approached by the customer care after purchase to either check my receipt or asked if I payed for all of my purchases. It’s getting really annoying and I hope it doesn’t repeat itself as it won’t be all smiles.

Went to the cafe today was going to get a meal deal for me and my daughter and kids meal for Grandaughter only to be told their frier wasn’t working so couldn’t have chips with our meals -I had to have a salad as replacement-my daughter was offered a packet of crisps as replacement my Grandaughter had to have pasta and meatballs but boy was it spicy-she is only 20 months so wouldn’t eat it . Had to ask for cutlery-no condiments were available had to ask for that too-so all in all -rubbish visit -won’t bother again -and staff were all youngsters and didn’t seem to care at all !Also the milkshake machine and coffee machine near customer service desk were out of order !
