Fantastic to see this pub reopen....Good selection of drinks and great Staff...only downside there is a charge of 50p per Pint if you use your card to pay...

Went for a Sunday roast and it was fantastic, one of the best we have had. The staff were so friendly and couldn't do enough for us. Would highly recommend

Lovely pub, very much feels like a countryside inn. Really friendly staff, decent prices and a wide range of drinks. Cosy and comfortable.

Under new management so tried it out for a Sunday lunch and the food was really decent; great homemade yorkshires and good portions. Good service too. We'd go again.

A dirty disappointment! Lovley little pub just a shame about the standards, was hoping for Sunday roast was told we would have to wait an hour for a packet of roast potatoes to be cooked. Decided to have a desert instead ordered a lemon cheesecake and chocolate fudge cake. Both with cream and extra hair fibres in the pot. The cheesecake was 65p from lidl. Glasses were filthy. Such a shame.

We visit the bird in hand regularly and since the new manager Jo has taken over, the atmosphere is friendly, fun and always attentive. The pub is also very child friendly.The new chef is amazing especially the Thai food which we have had several times!Thanks for making the pub such a welcoming place to be Jo!
