Lovely for a walk or a spash in the river.Plenty of parking and some great grub on offer at the pub, eat either inside or outside where there is plenty of seating. Attached cafe, where you can get fish and chips ,drinks etc.Can even play table tennis which is from the pub.Well worth a visit

Great place for a family trip out! Great play ground and lovely walk for everyone! However the pub was unwelcoming and rude, Bar staff stressed out . Asked for the bats and balls at the counter and the member of staff told us to basically go away! The toilets couldn't lock and were dirty but good walk for family!

Well cared for park. Liked the idea of having trees in memory of a lost loved one as well as the benches for people to sit and enjoy their surroundings. It was lashing down with rain and strong wind so didn't spend much time exploring but defining our list to revisit.

Excellent Fish & Chips, the fish being particularly so, very white & excellent texture. Very friendly staff, Riverside Hotel is in an excellent position with a very nice outside area, also nice atmosphere to eat inside too. Big playground nearby if you have young children, a long lovely walk next to the river Wharfe is possible. Dog friendly also.

Lovely well kept park near the town centre. Went for the young grandchildren to play in the amusement area, which has been recently refurbished by the council. It is well equipped and generally safe for young children although I have one criticism/suggestion.... There should be some sort of barrier or obstacle around the swings areas to prevent youngsters running in front of the swings when in use, as in their excitement they tend to forget about the danger. Well worth a visit and it's a pleasant walk along the river and there is also a cafe.

Absolutely fantastic play park for children of all ages with a wide range of equipment for both energetic and imaginative play. My 3 year old grandson loved it here.....especially the pirate ship. And to top it off you can have an ice cream or a snack at the cafe or eat your own picnic in the park and then walk alongside the river and feed the ducks .

A hidden gem!! Peaceful & picturesque!! Somewhere to walk & forget your worries. A pleasant walk to the river through a laid back pretty town. The autumn leaves are casting their magicsl glow on the river setting. A sight to behold.

Lovely Riverside walk and park area. Mostly greenery rather than floral but well kept. There is also a children's play area, and few people having a paddle in the river, which was a surprise on the day as it was a little chilly despite being August.
