Theravet

I could not be more impressed with Theravet if I tried. They were so thoughtful and kind with my little doggie who did not like water before she went to them. She had a luxating patella and was completely limping and not even using her back leg. The therapists did an amazing job, my vet wanted me to do expensive and risky surgery and I chose therapy instead. It has now been over 6 months and Molly seems to be completely cured. If you have any muscle issues with your dog take them to Theravet before you ever even think about any other kind of treatment. Thank you Theravet you were amazing!

I was recommended to Theravet by my vet. My dog was diagnosed with Hip Dysplasia and has been having treatment on a regular basis for the last 6 months. The team are incredibly friendly and very welcoming. They are fantastic with the animals they work with and they treat them as if they were their own. I cannot recommend them highly enough to treat your fur babies and give them the best treatments. A huge thank you from Ralph and myself to you all.

I have been taking my dogs to Theravets for a number of years and Emma and her team have always looked after them with such great care. Having agility dogs and Harvey being in the GB squad, the demand on their bodies is enormous and therefore ensuring they are properly cared for is crucial. From diagnosis to treatment I have always been kept well informed. Where necessary communicating with my vet to ensure the best line of treatment is always given.Thanks to Theravet Harvey is fitter and faster than he has ever been which is testament to their facilities and knowledge.

Where do I start? We have been visiting Theravet for the last 3 years and Emma and the team are incredible. After our two year old lab severed two tendons we were referred to Theravet. The team were amazing and worked tirelessly to get her back to full fitness. Without them I doubt she’d have worked again. The team’s knowledge and expertise is matched by their calm and caring manner with animals and owners alike. Even when fit we use Thervet to try and keep the dogs in top condition. Thank you for everything you have done and continue to do. We are very lucky to have you!

Theravet was recommended to me by my vet, the experience has been fantastic, my dogs progress post op is impeccable to say the least. My dog has worked with both Meg and Jen and both have beautiful calm energies that support my dogs need to recover. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Jen and the team were fantastic with my little Jack Russell, Hugo. After being referred to Theravet for Hydrotherapy, Jen insisted on further scans before they could treat him as she did not agree with the vet’s diagnosis and wanted to check they wouldn’t exacerbate the injury. Thank goodness! The extra scans showed that Hugo had torn his Iliopsoas muscle which required 3 months rest with red light therapy and once the tear had healed we could then start Hydrotherapy. Hugo is now healed and stronger than ever!

Cannot recommend Emma and the team at Theravet enough. Brew hurt himself falling in a lake at 9months old was referred to two different specialist vets after spending thousands they couldn’t identify what was wrong with him, I found Theravet through a recommendation, rang up and downloading his whole history on Emma. They saw him 2 weeks later and sent him for a scan to confirm their findings which it did he has some treatment at the vets and then physio to manage his recovery. On going back for another scan at the vets to see how he was healing the vet found that based on the last scan she wouldn’t say he had ever had any injury. This is no doubt to the the treatment hand constant monitoring the team give him. Brew loves going to Theravet and all of the team there they have done an amazing job with him and defiantly should be commended for everything they do.

I don’t have the words to thank Theravet enough for making a huge difference to my dog. After he was diagnosed with chronic inflammatory disease he walked into theravet with his head down and just lay down in the corner. By the end of his physio and laser session his head was up and by the time I got home he trotted up the drive, had the sparkle back in his eyes and even played with my other dogs a few days later. It’s a 360 turn and I can’t thank theravet for giving me my dog back.

Emma & the team have treated my animals both big & small for over 13 years. The horses have been kept in top shape in Emmas capable hands & her explanations of any issues & treatments needed have always been clear & concise. With a very accident prone horse I do not know what we would have done without her support over the years!The team are not phased by large breed dogs as many places are & have been fantastic with our GSDs in the practice both with land based physio therapy & the water based physio (even if one of our girls preferred to float & make them do the work). Our old GSD was able to live out her golden years with no pain relief due to their hard work & dedication. My dad also attends regularly with his labrador who loves to go swimming so much he even jumped in once whilst the cover was still on the pool! My dad is profoundly deaf & has early onset alzheimer's the team are as brilliant with him as they are the animals in their care.A really special place!
