The Botanist Bar & Restaurant Chester
Sadly we didn't have a good experience at this restaurant which is a shame as we've previously really enjoyed The Botanist in other cities.Firstly the service was pretty slow and it even took probably 20 minutes to get drinks (just soda) that we had to ask for multiple times.Secondly, my husband's food was undercooked (lamb hanging kebab). They did bring a replacement when asked but the second was also a little undercooked and they didn't really check back on us to make sure it was ok.Thirdly, the cookie dough I ordered was more like a cake and so I barely had any of it as it wasn't at all what I was expecting.Lastly, the women's bathrooms really needed looking after, two of the stalls were out of order, a further didn't lock and then in the one I was able to use, the toilet wasn't secured to the floor.

Franco's
I've been hear before with friends and always enjoyed, but my experience today was epic. Table for one, the view is special from mumbles to the steel works harbour and everything in between. Great service very polite staff, food was quick tasty and very filling, I had a veggie option there's quite a few on the menu. But looking around and I saw meat pies burgers and fish, what a place definitely on my list to visit again.

The 13th Note
Top ten meal I’ve ever eaten. Their Gyros is amazing. I visit here every time I’m in Glasgow. It’s a Vegan place but don’t be put off if your not. I’m a meat eater but still love it here. And if you are vegan I can’t recommend it enough.Accessibility is great too. Ramp to get in, super wide isles for wheelchairs etc. Staff are awesome too. So worth a visit.

Archies
Sunday Brunch, was quiet, but a peaceful relaxed atmosphere. Food came quickly, but I am slightly confused by the menu because there's a green box in the top left corner that said free tea or (I think) Americano and toast with a food order. So, we ordered our breakfasts and drinks, which came, but there was never an offer of the additional drink, or when we ordered and I said Latte, nobody said 'There's a complimentary Americano / tea, would you like that instead'? and there was no additional rack of toast. So was the Vegetarian breakfast not complete with toast, and that came free? Or was the extra just not given to me because I didn't ask. I don't like things like this that are unclear. Don't offer something and then not give it, unless I am made to ask, because I am British and I wont ask, I will sit there confused and polite and then just go away and moan in a review.

Roasty Toasty
Holy mackerel I'm in love. Ordered an absolutely inspired toasted sandwich - halloumi, rose harissa, tomato and honey, on what I presume was fresh sourdough. Perfect Monday lunch after a heavy night in Belfast.

The Crafty Egg
We were sat for an hour without our food turning up and turns out there was an issue with the ticket. Ed, Toby and Mariano made sure all was rectified very quickly and made sure we were compensated for the wait time. Staff very friendly, food delicious and coffee made perfectly.

Doghouse
Lovely little cafe area at the front of the shop / groomers. Some seats outside too. Polar enjoyed her puppacino, once she posed for her photo first though.

Hair Of The Dog
Elaine is an Angel!! I took my beautiful white bunny to Elaine as he had some nasty mats - it was really getting me down as I’d already taken him to the vets who were unhelpful and told me to wash the mats out, which only made things worse! Elaine was really lovely with him and now beautiful Glen looks a million dollars again. Thank you so much xx My Mum takes her toy poodle here and I’ve taken my fluffy cat in the past and they do a wonderful job
