Home Instead Home Care & Live-in Care - Stockport

I started working for Home Instead almost 6 months ago now and after previously working for a different care company for 18 months Home Instead has shone a whole new light on the care industry for me! I knew that working in care was something that i really wanted to do and I absolutely love what i do! I found that some care companies didnt have the same views on what care really meant until i came to work here! They truly do put the hearts and souls of the clients into everything that they do and not only the clients, the caregivers too and thats why I love working for them! The training opportunities, the atmosphere in the office when you go in, the support you receive, the colleagues i work with and the clients are all absolutely fantastic! No two days are ever the same and I honestly never have a day where i dread going to work and seeing all the lovely clients and thats what I absolutely love about this job!!! :)

Initially great, came out to do a care plan with my mother and then, when we were ready to go ahead and set a start date for care to begin, they stopped returning all calls with no explanation leaving us back at square one. Very disappointing and upsetting for us all.

Proud to say I have worked here for 3 years on a part time basis and truly feel very valued. The company have ensured I can continue to train and develop during this time to allow me to provide outstanding care for the clients I am matched with. I have also represented the company at many local community events, it is at these events that you see what huge passion and commitment the staff have in doing their role. This then shows in the faces of the clients.

I applied for a job with this company. Sent CV 3 weeks ago. Have heard nothing. But on talking to a ex employee they are not a good company to work for. Now have a brilliant job elsewhere.

I have worked for Home Instead Senior Care Stockport for almost a year. I have never worked in care before and I have learned so much already. I have made some fantastic friends and had a tremendous amount of support from the management team, office staff and fellow caregivers. I am now trained in Dementia care and End of life care. I have been to the Stockport Star Awards ( We Won!)I am now being trained for oncall work in a supervisor role and will be filming for head office soon. I can't thank the team enough for all the opportunities I have been given and this is by far the best job I have ever had. X

I've worked here for almost four years now and can say in all honestly that home instead have been an absolute pleasure to work for. Studying at university as well, home instead have accommodated my needs with regards to the amount of hours I do and my availability. They have always put me with clients that I am well suited to. Cant fault them, so much so that I have qualified from my nursing degree and still continue to work for them as well as my nursing job. Lovely company to work for x

Brilliant company to work for excellent office staff & caregivers, working with home instead doesnt feel like a job feels like your visiting family everytime.

I have worked alongside this home care company for a number of years now. The work they do is just amazing. I recommend them frequently as both a brilliant place to work and for their excellent care of people in their own homes. But it's more than that they do an enormous amount of work for the community as well. Just an amazing company

David Moore - Managing director extremely rude! I have contacted the office to ask him to send again a reference for a lady in need that is looking for a job and he replied that I'm making his staff wasting their time just because I called the office(?). In my personal opinion, I would not EVER hire this company to take care of somebody I love knowing the person who runs and manages it is rude, careless and has no manners.
