SCHMIDT Kitchens St Albans

I couldn't ask for a better service. Everything was fantastic for the first visit at the showroom to the day that we done the check out of the work done.Michael was very supportive and give us a lot ideas, made our expectations to be on a paper exactly as we want. The timelines were amazing no delays, actually the kitchen were ready a week before the timeline :) .. everything went as promise. The Fitting Team was also amazing, they were very detailed, patient and perfect on the work done. They also made a bespoke wonderful laundry unit. i would recommended Schmidt to everyone that want a kitchen.. this was the first work with Schmidt but certainly not the last . It's been an absolutely amazing journey with the Schmidt Kitchen Team at the St. Albans branch. From Day 1, when we first discovered the showroom on Victoria Street to the current time when when they are still supporting us with little requests - like a retro fit of a custom spice drawer - they have all been professional, extremely helpful and above all patient.They took time to work with us on the design, talking its through really important design decisions with real expertise. We must have made at least 5 visits to the showroom during the design phase but rather than pressure us into signing anything, or pushing us into an order their key priority was were we happy with design. Soooo different from other kitchen companies who shall remain nameless but rhyme with 'ben'.The range of colour combos and small customisations you can have with Schmidt, for us, made the kitchens really stand out. The construction of the cabinets is also second to none based on all the research we undertook.Finally. they continue to impress me even after the kitchen has gone in with their excellent after-sales support - the aforementioned retrofit solutions.if you have the budget, we'd really recommend Schmidt and especially the St. Albans team. You will not regret the decision!

Extremely happy with our kitchen initially walked into Schmidt not expecting much but after the initial consultation with Kostas we were sold. Kostas was just aiming to please he was very patient and knowledgeable gave us very good advise. we had numerous design meetings with Kostas and his team and nothing was too much we changed our minds a few times but he was happy to update however kostas will always let you know if what we wanted will not work we had a big kitchen and wanted to maximise the space which kostas and his team did excellently. A special shout out to Monish. Monish has also been amazing his gone above and beyond to ensure we are happy with our kitchen. We actually went with our own fitters but Monish was always at hand to help with any questions and Monish actually came out after the kitchen was fitted to ensure the kitchen was fitted correctly. I can't thank st albans Schmidt enough for their professionalism and attention to detail during the design consultation, kitchen fitting and post kitchen fitting.. we really love our kitchen it looks really lovely and functional. I will recommend St Albans Schmidt to anyone. And the fact we reached out to Schmidt post kitchen fitting and they were at hand to help is an added bonus

Schmidt provided excellent service and support through the entire process to replace our kitchen. We compared offers from 5 companies and selected Schmidt based on quality and value. During the design process Haydar and Monish offered lots of great suggestions on layout and colour, for example moving the oven and choice of quartz. During fitting Hadar and team oversaw the work.The result is a fantastic looking and functioning kitchen.I have no hesitation to recommend Schmidt for service and quality. Stunning!- absolutely stunningMichael and the team have created the most amazing kitchen for us in our new extension. We approached Schmidt Kitchens with some ideas of what we'd like, but not having any real knowledge or experience to know for sure.Michael spent a lot of time with us, showing us what was possible, different types of materials, what would be practical and also highlighting what to avoid.We never felt we were being sold to. Quite the opposite actually - Michael was able to share his knowledge with us and explained his designs so that we could make informed decisions.We did tweak our design several times during the design process - Michael was very accommodating in that respect. We never felt rushed and everything was discussed in great detail until both we and him were satisfied.It felt like we were working as a team and that's important - being able to trust each other and working towards a spectacular end goal.His knowledge really shone through and he helped us to understand lighting, sightlines, colours, shadows, practical features, etc, etc.His contribution did not stop at the design stage. He would come on site when the building work was taking place and made sure dimensions, electrical points and other aspects were correct. He would give us advice on electrics, plumbing, building, flooring. All of these need to be thought of at the same time as the kitchen design. Michael knows about creating a holistic design which works.I'd definitely say that he became a very valuable member of our House Dream Team".And a special mention to Haydar and the installation team. They put it all together in the end and made sure that everything was perfect.We are really happy with the new heart of our house.Thank you Michael

I don't normally write reviews but given our recent experience of having a new kitchen designed and installed by Schmidt St Albans I felt compelled to share our experience as this company provided us, not only with a beautiful & practical kitchen, but also a level of service that was outstanding.Haydar Sal looked after us throughout the entire project, from providing us with a very informative introduction to the Schmidt range so that we were able to make informed decisions about the choices we made. After he presented his initial design he was very patient and took great care to work through all the details with us until we were completely happy with every detail.Once we placed the order, delivery & fitting dates were agreed and everything arrived on time and all the original dates were honoured.With regards to the installation, Kostas and his team were excellent and had a real desire to achieve exactly what we required and made sure we were happy throughout the entire installation.Their choice of companies that provided the quartz worktops and glass splash back were equally professional and keen to please.

Schmidt reviewWe had our kitchen done through Schmidt. We shopped around and were not impressed by other high street offerings. When we entered Schmidt, St Albans, we found the team very welcoming. They took all our brain dump about kitchen plan and idea. But Katerina did apply all her imagination and made us understand how the original plan can be made better. They made sure it is cost effective. But Katerina & her team’s suggestions were much as if one would design their own kitchen. So much intense involvement they showed. They were very professional and gave as many sessions as needed. The design we came up with made great use of space. The specs were very high standard and elegant. The designers showed great accommodations to our changes as well. Haydar helped with kitchen appliances and all were very high specs.The installation was super smooth. Initially I was in two minds about whether to use my builder or Schmidt installer. Katerina in most decisions was so helpful & guided us well. The installation choice to use Schmidt installer was perfect. They work to perfection and know exactly how to workout minor adjustments and overcome any hiccups without involving us.The cost was not very high than competitors but quality of design, guidance throughout & comforting service was unmatchable by other providers for sure. Haydar, Kostas and the entire Schmidt team did a really wonderful job designing and re-fitting our kitchen and hallway. Good project management and attention to detail and the recommended builder, A-Tech Building Services, was exceptional. Extremely pleased with the result and would definitely recommend them as a supplier and fitter of high quality kitchens.
