I followed your instructions and ordered gas when had 32% tank left a week ago. Got a message you would deliver on Monday. No delivery and when I looked first thing yesterday morning my guage said 0%. Called up urgent line at 8:30am yesterday morning and was told something must have gone wrong but you would be delivering that day. I explained that I have four children one of whom is only 4 months old and they said don't worry it would be there.. Got up this morning still showing 0% so despite your assurances still no delivery. called your urgent number again. Told you probably skipped it on Monday if you had a more urgent delivery come in because you only promise 7-10 working days. The lady said she would pass on my message to customer services but they only opened at 9:30am. I called at 9:30am, put on hold for over half an hour and then told you didn't think a delivery to us had been planned yet - I cannot expect one in less than 10 working days and you can't tell me when it will be delivered. When I explained I did everything I could by ordering before 25% as advised and you are leaving me and my baby in a house without heat when the temperature this morning was -2oC I was told you would waive the £230 charge you quoted me for delivery in 48 hours (if possible - no guarantee) and mark this as urgent but you would not deliver today. When I asked when you would deliver I was told you didn't know. Still waiting your call, sat at home worrying about my children, particularly my baby, in a freezing house overnight and potentially the rest of the week. This should not be allowed when there are vulnerable people in a home.

An absolutely diabolical company and organisation: disorganised, disjointed and diabolical customer service and support!My father this morning went out to check his gas and found that his meter is down to 3%! Allegidly when the meter drops to 10% avantigas’s super dooper system will automatically arrange a delivery and top up!!! He has this morning waited 40minutes on the phone to get through to someone for help, when he did the young lady said “oh yes i can see you are down to 3% we will look into it and get someone call you back immediately “, 5 hours later no call arrived so he went through the same process again, when the second time he got through he was as tood he could not be guaranteed a delivery and date!!! This is a father who is 76 and has a terminally ill wife in bed with stage 4 cancer!!!An absolute disgrace of an organisation which is obviously totally mis-managed!!!As a result i am absolutely livid and will be contacting the news, watchdog, local mp and solicitors!!Joke of a company!!

This greedy little pathetic excuse of an LPG supplier should be avoided at all costs. Placed my order at 25% (as told to), no delivery after 15 working days (their own time frame). Waited 25 minutes just for phone to be answered (same as every other time I call). Now at 5% my delivery is 'escalated' but they still can't tell me when it will be delivered (customer service unwilling to pick up the phone to distribution depot it seems). Not allowed to speak to a manager. Pathetic company at every stage of the process.

Took over our supply from Premier who we're excellent. Ordered gas for the first time from Avanti 12th Dec and told 7-10 working days until delivery. Gauge now reading 5% (29th Dec) but apparently we are still not priority for delivery and they won't give us a date so I can manage what little gas supply I have left. Have 2 young children and daren't turn the heating on as I am prioritising hot water over heating. Will be changing company as soon as we can. From reading other reviews get the impression they are 'firefighting' and only delivering once you have run out. No way to treat paying customers.Update...promised delivery today (5th Jan) which never arrived. We've had the heating off since 19th Dec and are freezing but Avanti don't seem to care.

Shocking, worst time of the year to run out of gas. Avanti moved offices and ever since their usage estimation tool has been broken, resulting in a delivery attempt every week, constant phone calls to Avanti to provide meter readings from the tank and complain about them wasting their own drivers time. after complaining it seems that they have gone from attempting delivery every week to none at all since December (now March) and during a red and yellow weather warning, we have run out of gas. disapointed, cold, snowed in and with no hot water or central heating!

This company are just useless. I ordered a refill for my tank on 8th March 2023 when the gauge read 30% (as per instructions on their website). Delivery was supposed to be 10 - 15 working days. I updated the gauge readings online regularly to show that my gas supply was getting precarious, but nothing happened. When the gas finally ran out (two days ago) I rang their customer service number (had to hold for almost an hour) to be advised that this was now deemed an emergency delivery". I called again this morning

Really appalling service. On automated deliveries but today we hit 0% on our tank and ran out completely - no heating, hot water, no hobs. I am pregnant and I have a 3 year old. Our new underfloor heating system is likely to get damaged as the plumber told us we must not run out of gas. We chased up Avanti Gas last week to say our tank was getting low (despite the fact the order had been generated on 6th March and we're on automated deliveries and we keep our readings up to date) and they said 'rest assured we won't let your tank run out'. We called today to explain the situation and were told we'd get a call back. No one ever did. It's absolutely appalling and no company can run like this. We have made a formal complaint and will be looking for compensation. Plus looking to move to a new provider as Avanti have breached contract.

Simply one of the worst organisations I have ever had to deal with. I have only ever had two orders with them, and they couldn't have made a worse job on both of them. In fact, I am still waiting (5 weeks and counting) for my latest order.They promise text alerts, email notifications in advance of delivery slots. Then they cancel deliveries or just turn up. Which is HUGELY helpful when you need to be in to allow access, and you're in Essex when they ring you outside your gate....Their customer service is UTTERLY DREADFUL, they spell my name wrong on most emails. Promise things then don't deliver, and fail to reply on occasions. I seem to have two accounts open with them too. For some reason.Honestly. If you need gas - do not use Avanti Gas LTD - find another supplier. If you have to use Avanti Gas, stock up on electric kettles and hot water bottles as you're gonna need them!

Well, it’s the start of Christmas week and we’ve had to make the decision to leave our home due to the temperature inside dropping to 10 degrees over the weekend. Saturday night was brutal with no heating, freezing temperatures and snow has left my poor husband (who suffers terribly with asthma) with a nasty chest infection.We’ve had to close our business early for the Christmas break as we run it from home and it is simply too cold to work or be in the house.We now have a delivery date of Tuesday 20th December. Which I can only hope actually arrives, unlike the last two. I would have thought that a customer with no gas on Thursday would result in a delivery day of Friday or Saturday at the latest, apparently not.Extremely miserable to be left in the depths of winter with no gas. Avoid this company at all costs they are incompetent and cannot do the one thing they are contracted to do; deliver gas.They state you’ll get you gas within 7-10 working days - it will be 24 working days (34 calendar days) if it actually arrives tomorrow. When you call them out on that fact they start trying to throw in the difference between manual and automatic orders and that the 7-10 working days only applies to automatic orders and that manual orders will be received ‘in good time’. Being left to run out of gas is not ‘in good time’ in my opinion. Also you’ll see on other reviews that automatic orders are also left to run out.This is not a company which is run well, they are an absolute shambles and are not to be trusted.

Echoing all the other negative reviews. You order in good time and they promise delivery within 10 working days. Weeks later, broken promises and no delivery: you run out of gas and you're left with no heating and no hot water in the middle of winter. No-one answers the phone, no-one cares. Stay away, they're abysmal. Use a different supplier - even if they cost more. Getting locked into a contract with Avanti is a terrible decision.
