Went for farming in the field education with my 4.5 year old and 16 month old. They enjoyed feeding the donkeys and pot bellied pigs. We then went to the garden to dig up produce, and eat some peas off the vine.Marie was so friendly and wonderful to chat with. The 75 mins or so that we were there flew by, and we came home with more fresh produce than we can consume before we go back home to canada. It was an “off the beaten path” experience, but laid back, and lovely. Thank you!

What a fabulous place. Owner /assistant couldn't be more helpful. Great selection of foods from adjacent farm as well as other local farms as well as some standard groceries.

This place is simply brilliant if you are looking for fresh food sourced from this part of Scotland. The owner is a mine of helpful information, and most of the fresh vegetables seem to be grown by her. The provenance of pretty much everything else is well known to her, and the fridges and shelves are full of exciting goodies. Aside from local produce by the shelf-load, there are plenty of non-perishable delicacies (olive oils, cordials, jams, pasta etc.). We are on holiday in the area and have been in four times in the last week! We've had little need to look for the usual big supermarkets, being lucky enough to be staying in the vicinity of this shop, and it's open 6 days a week. Among many things we found artisan cheeses, fresh bread, peas in the pod, Swiss chard, earth-covered potatoes, local dairy products, vine-ripe tomatoes, sausages, and even buffalo meat from Kircaldy! This type of shop is something all local food producers would be lucky to have nearby. The owner is a passionate advocate for and provider of the best locally farmed and produced goods that this part of Scotland has to offer. Oh, and you can pay by card - Brilliant!

Found this place by chance and it did not disappoint! I have been on the look out for a locally sourced green grocer" type shop this end of Scotland and was over the moon when we stumbled across Whats for Tea Tonight. Everything I could have hoped for and more! The owner was more than friendly and welcoming; helping with anything we needed. We even stayed a little extra for the chat. Such a lovely gem of a shop and very much worth a visit. Will definitely return.Currently making leek and potato soup with the fresh veg we purchased

We buy from here all the time. Nice that most of the produce are locally sourced. Very friendly lady that works behind the counter.
