We stopped at this hotel for lunch. We sat outside under the gazebo. I had the tastiest freshest fish I have ever eaten,and lovely salted caramel icecream. My husband had a wonderful chili. Portions were very good, and staff very friendly. We will definitely add this hotel to our stop off list.

We were here a short time, a party of 10, and we were here for a brief lunch. It was very good. Nice staff and good location. I cannot comment about the rooms, as we were only in the lounge and restaurant

In a quiet location just a few minutes from Inverness off the main coastal route is this nicely preserved private hotel - bar-restaurant. Good value, very friendly service and nice atmosphere.

A lovely warm welcome, comfortable the food very good, loved our breakfast, great start to the day . Short staffed but nothing was too much trouble.Definitely going back.

Took us in when we got stranded because of Easyjet screwing up. Room was amazing, very comfortable and clean. Food menu would suit anyone as there is a decent range. Good choice of beers at the bar too. The owner was really easy going and friendly so made the experience a lot easier!

Nice location and the hotel is in an old historic building with cozy rooms that have a romantic vibe. The staff and owners are polite and friendly. The one thing we missed from a small cozy place was the feeling of relaxing at the hotel bar for a nightcap. And we were surprised with the early closing time that made us feel like to we had to rush to finish our drinks.

Friendly, comfortable and interesting hotel. It’s great to stay in a hotel that is not part of a chain - it’s a different experience and certainly an enjoyable one. Our stay was brief but if I am back in the Inverness area for business or pleasure this will certainly be my hotel of choice.

Visited twice for drinks after a walk & once for a meal (birthday) all visits it was just OK. Nothing really to pin point but felt a bit like we were in the way especially when we just popped in for drinks. No dogs allowed in the hotel so we sat in the beer garden" gravel with benches. When we ate here the menu was very limited (possibly due to Corona?) & the waiting staff failed to point out the specials board

Had a lovely stay here staff were friendly and got us a local taxi into Inverness the food was amazing
