Having used this garage for at least 5 years now for MOT and services, phoned them on the Tuesday asking if I could get a service before Friday as going on holiday, they explained their fully booked but to come down early Friday morning and they do what they can, yes they did the service at such short notice so we could get away for the week. when I made the appointment I held back from giving all the details of my car for a service on my Audi A4 “gearbox” I leave all the details and model of the car..I asked if they were specialized for the service and the answer was yes!!!! then asked to do the service and check a noise from the the passenger side...Okay okay everything okay. car was there all day and just half an hour before to pick up the car he came to say that he is not qualified to do the service but the oil in the box is in good condition!!!!!! there was no noise on the passenger side... I left the car there all day for nothing. . service to be done and with noise still there .. before accepting a job, you should have insured your skills for the job and not cheat or play with people's time...

Tbh I wouldn’t even give this place a one star ! The receptionist had no customer service skills at all , my car failed it's MOT so I had to take it away to get the tyre fixed, I took it to another garage as that one was cheaper then they was quoting me and had all the work done at the other place , the worse part was I had an oil leak and the garage didn’t even find that when looking at my car. I had to take it back to this garage to have it re mot’d. When I rang at 12 o’clock to see how my car was doing the receptionist (Bernie I think her name is ) was the most rude person I have ever come across apparently I had agreed to get my car done by this garage (which I hadn’t). This caused her to also be very rude down the phone. Also, I hadn’t left the paperwork from the previous MOT in the car that stated it had failed she then began to moan and told me that she told me, my partner and dad that what she said to us when none of us recorded her saying this , then she told me that shes got to try and send this part back that they ordered for my car when I never even agreed to have the work done there in the first place! Tbh I’m glad they didn’t work on my car and I will never be using them again! BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! DONT EVEN BOTHER!

Fantastic service from Chequered Flag. My car failed its MOT and the garage couldn’t deal with the repair. Got in touch with Chequered Flag on the Monday car was ready on the Tuesday. Recognised the problem straight away. Very friendly and efficient. Cost less than I thought it would too.

Been going here for a few years. Such genuine people running a decent company. Some places you just know something is wrong/dodgey, but not here....otherwise I'd find the next place for my MOT lol. Cheers
