Lovely hotel. Friendly staff and in a good location. Only paid £80 for a double room for 2 nights and would definitely stay again.

The room and bed were good. However there were conditions which need addressing.1 - The writing surface was facing away from the window and the room light but had no desk light so it did not provide the best conditions for working at the surface as one has to work in one's own shadow.2 - the shower/bath has no grab rails and no no non-slip mat for those having a shower. In this day and age Health and Safety hazards.

Fabulous room bedding and towels were immaculate. Fantastic value for money bed was so comfortable and check out time and free parking should put other hotels to shame.

Rooms basic. They take a damage deposit but luckily I took a photo of a dent in the wall and showed it to the manager before we left for the evening otherwise we probably would have been charged. Also night porter was very jobs worthy and wouldn't let my son back in because he couldn't remember which room he was in this was 5 minutes after he had been let out!We ended up having to go down the road to the Holiday Inn Express. 200% better condition and attitude.
