I took my car to this garage as it was making a loud squeaking noise when I reversed after it had been parked any length of time. I suspected this was due to the brakes sticking on.I was advised to book it in for a free brake health check, which I did, stating the issue I had noticed at the time of booking. After the garage had the car for 4 hours I called for an update and was told they could find no issue with the brake system whatsoever.I then attended the garage and asked them specifically whether they had tested whether the calipers were releasing and whether the handbrake was sticking on. I was told 'No, we can find no fault with the vehicle' they also told me they had road tested it twice and had not been able to recreate the noise, I reminded them that they wouldn't notice on a road test as it was only noticeable when reversing after being parked.I asked for a technician to witness me reverse it out of their parking bay before I took it away and after I witnessed them sniggering about this they did so. I noticed when I got in the vehicle they hadnt even removed the wheels to investigate as they hadnt used the locking wheel nuts. The technician then witnessed the loud squealing I was reporting and asked me to leave the vehicle with them for the afternoon.I was later informed that the handbrake had been stuck on the drivers side rear wheel and that was what was causing the noise.I was charged 1 hr labour plus vat for them to free off the handbrake and lubricate the parts but had I not been so savvy and known what I was talking about I would have driven my vehicle away thinking there was no fault with it.Please use this garage with caution.

I work on the estate and had a problem with the battery in my fob, popped in and James was so helpful, made sure that key was working properly and that the immobiliser wasn’t affected. Would definitely recommend.

Very disappointed with the new Membership package. I’ve used the In N Out Gold membership for many years now but they recently updated it to what now just looked like a strategy to charge more money for doing less.I’ve used these guys for a long time and they always came across fair and honest. But starting to question this now with their new membership pricing strategy.I used to pay £400 which sorted my car servicing and MOT for 2 years and also had brake fluid and air con recharge included and a few other extra bits. Now, they upped the price to £560 but have removed brake fluid and air con recharge. That’s a 40% increase in price while also removing a big chunk of the benefit!Yes I get there has been inflation, but not 40%! And you can’t be putting prices up 40% while giving the customer less as well. Looks to me like they’re trying to take advantage of loyal customers during this inflation - just a money making thing I guess.

Took car in for a diagnostic check at the Brackmills branch as the turbo sounded really rough.The mechanic did a thorough check which took about an hour.In the end the turbo was faulty and I was advised not to drive it.I authorised them to do the replacement and it was completed in the time frame as discussed.The all in price was very competitive and the standard of service was excellent.I would not hesitate to use them again should the need arise.

Very good service here. I needed my brakes changing urgently, they did free brake test at midday on the same day that I phoned then did the repair needed straight after. Reasonably priced.

Fantastic service from James and all the staff at in n out. They fitted me in on the same day when I realised my MOT was due. Talked me through the advisories and gave me excellent advice. Thank you again for the superb service.
