False advertising. I got a loan which was paid back, didn't miss a payment. Then got a top up loan as x amount had been paid off. Since paying off entire loan I have been turned down 3 times for another loan, with no valid reason given. At a critical point they DID NOT LISTEN. WEREN'T INTERESTED I MY PLIGHT. Will be changing banks ASAP.

Applied for loan took about a week for them to look at my application. I applied for 6k but was told I could only be offered £600. This is very insulting considering my disposal income is over £1000. Avoid making application for a loan its a waste of time.

Who at London Mutual Credit Union thought it would be a good idea to do maintenance on the day before the last working (payday) of the month. Absolute bloody idiot, the person responsible for this needs firing, this is now going to cause me a bloody nightmare.I would definitely not recommend this bank if you are thinking of opening an account, go to wessex community bank as they are an outstanding non profit bank.Un bloody believeable!!!!!

Love this bank ,great set up ,reliable there is so many great things credit union provide but I have to say one of the best things about this bank is when you use your card it tells you straight away via text messaging how much you spent what you have eft and where you used the card and because of this I was able to be notified straight away the other day that I had lost my card because out of nowhere I got a text saying a transaction had been made and within 4/5 minutes of that transaction I was on the phone to the out of service customers service who may I add answered within 15 seconds blocking my card and getting a new one sent out , now if that was one of these other banks if I hadn’t gone to use my card for a few days the person that found it could have used it again and again for days until I noticed .

I wanted to say nice things, but I have trouble reaching out to someone. No one picks up the phone. I stayed very long in the queue waiting to be answered. I don't have all day just to stay on the line waiting.Hopefully they can find ways to improve their phone service, maybe hire some more people.Otherwise, the app is good to use. Still more to improve but I'm getting the hang of it. I am just confused with the money I have deposited, its going down every time? Before I have a difference of £2 which is membership fee. Now, its £7 difference and no explanation in the app. hmmm?

LMCU is a reliable bank because they come in very handy when you need them. They offers the lowest interest rate across the country. Staffs are very polite and helpful. I highly recommend them to anyone who is looking to bank with a bank that serves as a shelter when it’s raining.

Wow LMCU ..They are the best. The services are top notch. If I could give them 10 ⭐ I would.They really helped me with lending me a loan twice. When I really needed financial help.It was done on email and I didn't have to go into the office.They were fast in getting back to me and making a decision in 3 working days. I didnt expect it to be soo fast. The loan really do help you out.I would recommend them to family and friends.

Very disappointing experience of requesting a consolidation loan in order to have my repayments in one place and to reduce my outgoings. I sent lots of documentation and could afford to pay the amount requested over a longer period of time eg. 4-5 years. However I was offered 3 quarters of the requested amount to be repaid over a shorter period of time leaving me unable to afford the high repayments which defeated the objective. Lucky I went to another credit union and was able to obtain a loan for my purpose which has a low Apr and is very affordable over a 3 year period.

Absolutely diabolical and suspicious, I put my money in a bank for safe.keeping, I do not expect my bank to force accounting services on customers, why would you freeze an account because a payment of less than £5000 was paid in and they feel that warrants to freeze the payment decline direct debit payment and then charge £11 why would you do that if I wanted an accountant I would not want my banker to be doing this for me .please LMCU stop this practice as it can play with people's mental health by feelings of being criminalised and useless not being able to provide even though they have enough funds in their account.

I will have appreciated a quick reply rather than a disappointed email 2 weeks after applying, with daily text giving me false hope, also collecting my personal information. I've been with them for sometime just that my account was not active, upon their decision I'm now considered as new member and have to save 3 months before being considered.
