At least it was a proper shop with good stock for its size. And open, which is more than could be said of several of the other 'waste of shoeleather' Google 'recommendations' in Penzance. We got what we wacted.

New cashier was miserable, unhelpful and rude. Will avoid in futureIn addition to the original comment:I don't usually take the time to review places I visit (perhaps I should) but in this instance I felt I needed to, especially after the response I got from the owner.I took my Gran into this shop to get a few buttons. We walked in and exchanged the usual pleasantrys, Gran asked if she had the buttons she needed. Instead of making any effort to help, the owner pointed to a part of the back of the shop and said over there".I was at this point rather surprised by the lack of any kind of desire to help let alone get out of her chair.After spending 10 minutes trying to find the button needed in a frankly terribly arranged "shelf" I took 7 buttons out and took them to the till. I was then told I needed the tube which I misheard

Lovely little shop with new owner after moving from Bread St, easy to find right at the top of Morrab Rd. Well worth a visit for sewing accessories

Young lady ? answered the phone, shame she had no idea of their product range. I purchased items from this shop before and wanted a repeat order. Sadly she was unaware of the range they carry and advised me they no longer sell the item. My original purchase was 2 days prior!

Only been here a couple of times and got what I needed. I was happy with this shop. Definitely worth having another look

My wife says they most often have items she wants, as opposed to other similar shops. Good value for money

Love this little place! Come, have a look and you won't be disappointed. Everytime I go in for a couple of items I end up coming out with half the shop.

From what I can see, this used to be a fantastic little shop. Unfortunatly, it seems to have closed down. Another victim of covid....

Visited today to get some hand sewing needles - lovely store with a good variety of items and selection of all kinds of sewing/crafty things. The lady at the counter was very friendly & helpful with my other inquiry about how I could mend a knitted jumper. Great to have a store to service the needs of the sewing & craft community of the area
