Had a wonderful nights stay here in a bridge view studio suite. Rooms are quiet and beautifully decorated. The flowers by mark are beautiful!Breakfast was wonderful and drinks in the bar a real treat. The staff are brilliant at what they do and the service is excellent.

Absolutely amazing experience at this hotel. From the ambience, decorations and service to the little details (flowers in my room kept fresh and complementary snacks refilled daily), One Aldwych is now one of my favorite hotels I’ve stayed in from all I’ve stayed in across the world. It’s worth every penny. And an additional plus is the commitment of the hotel to operating sustainably. I’ll be staying here again when I return to London.

We stayed at One Aldwych for a few days recently and received, hands-down, the best service we have received at any hotel anywhere. It started when Andrew and Enamul grabbed our bags at the curb when we arrived and escorted us to the front desk. The front desk person and concierge Alan were very helpful. Alan had also promptly provided requested information by email, even before we arrived.During our stay, we were always greeted with a smile by all hotel staff. Julia’s service in the restaurant was stellar every morning, and breakfast was consistently good. The location was within walking distance to a number of restaurants, playhouses, and a bridge across the Thames with perhaps the best nighttime view in London. Our room was impeccably clean and appears to have been constructed/finished within just the last few weeks. We will definitely stay at One Aldwych during our next trip to London.

Went in for their Charlie and the Chocolate Factory themed high tea time. It was expensive, which I didn't expect (my fault for not doing the research), but the service was some of the best I have ever experienced! The food served was all delicious, even things I thought I would not like (beetroot macarons?). There were multiple courses, all themed and named. The teas were all hot, tasty and comforting (especially on the cold and rainy day that we went), the best of which was the lemon one. Be prepared as you may end up in a sugar coma (seriously, if you are diabetic be advised). The incredible staff made this a worthwhile time and worth the money spent. It was an unforgettable time for my family.

We stayed at One Aldwych over the US Thanksgiving holiday, for 5 nights. We cancelled another hotel that we had previously loved, because of the consistent 5 star reviews on travel websites. Unfortunately, One Aldwych didn't come close to feeling like a 5 Star hotel - as in a Four Seasons, Peninsula kind of 5 star that we have enjoyed. We availed of the stay 7 nights, pay for 5 promotion. Upon arrival in our, room I was shocked to see how small it was, it fit the queen size bed just about. We decided to go to bed and cope with a move the next day. We had asked for an upgrade and was told that we received one, but the thank you note and some fruit in our name was in the room, so it was the original one, not a bigger upgrade. When we complained a staff member came to our room and I am sure he realized that, yes, it was tiny. He ended up finding a bigger one for us, it had a seating area and we were happier. Our next issues were breakfast. The hotel was good about giving us a breakfast meal around 1:00 p.m., even though they complained every day that we were calling late, but we were coping with Jet lag. The coffee was awful, every day. Because we were sharing the huge full British, one morning they sent up one cup of coffee, instead of a pot. After about 2 days of walking for miles, our bodies started to hurt, we let them know and the head housekeeper supervised one of her staff and added toppers and comforters to make the mattress softer. I say all this because the hotel did everything they could to make things right when we complained, but we are not into complaining that much and hate waiting for things to be put right. One site says that they give you flowers and fruit every day, that wasn't the case for us, but they do keep the mini bar full, a nice touch. We didn't get a good vibe from the concierge the first time we spoke to him, he appeared to be frustrated with one of our questions. I wouldn't recommend One Aldwych unless you are comfortable waiting for problems to be solved. We didn't use the pool or spa.

My friends and I shared an extremely happy afternoon here at One Aldwych, where we met for cocktails and chat...the staff were exceptional, attentive, fun, knowledgeable, and engaging, especially Anna and Guillermo. It is a BEAUTIFUL hotel in the heart of theatre land, exquisitely decorated and furnished. My special mention must, however, go firstly to the kind person who found my jewellery in the ladies' bathroom (where I had removed it to wash my hands), and handed it in immediately to reception and secondly to the gentleman I dealt with over the phone, housekeeping and the concierge for promptly returning them to me by post within 48 hours. Absolutely top notch.

Gorgeous bar; fantastic service. I love this place. Hidden gem right in the heart of Covent Garden. Had champagne at the bar celebrating a new job and the staff brought out a little cake with candle and congratulations on it even though we were only there for drinks. Such a lovely detail and completed impromptu. Glorious!

Simply amazing. With a pool, sauna and steam room. Enough said.Re-reading this, perhaps enough WASN'T said. Great position in the heart of London (really close to the London Eye and The Savoy, which was a big plus). If it's within your budget (and it's not cheap, but then again nothing about it gives the appearance of corners having been cut), you should do it. I promise you won't be disappointed. And I've never promised anything in a review before.
