Very good nursery to buy plants, bedding plants, some trees, different types of stones, gravel, garden ornaments. It is a bit pricey compared to other nurseries. But, there is a variety of plants available. Sometimes I've found very unusual plants too.

Normally love this garden centre and have been going there for many years - but after driving 8 miles to get there in very hot conditions today, I found virtually no plants - all glasshouses totally empty, couldn't even get a big bag of compost. Extremely disappointing. Left with nothing. Not sure what's happening there.

I visited this place for the first time. I visited homeb*** and B*Q one week ago to buy plants and massively regretted the low quality plants I have purchased for such a high price. This is going to be my one and only place i visit for buying plants. I would recommend going early, as it started to get very busy in the afternoon.- Free parking and loading space was great.- The staff were all so friendly, constantly smiling and happy to help everyone.- The quality, price and range of plants was absolutely fantastic.- I do wish they sold balcony hanging troughs that can rest on a rail (not sure what they are called)Would definitely recommend!!!!!

We go every year for the santa grotto. This is the most believable santa we have ever seen. The grotto isn't massive but it's very very well done and the kids get to meet Mrs Claus before they go in. Your allowed to take your own pictures.they also get a very nice toy that's wrapped. Highly recommended,

This nursery have been outstanding in collecting together and delivering a large order of plants for my son’s birthday. As I live in Norfolk, everything was organised from afar by email. The whole process was friendly and efficient. Most importantly the plants are lovely healthy specimens and my son is delighted. Well done Northfields!

Well stocked local nursery, but certainly not cheap which loses a star.

Absolutely shocking experience. We came here with our toddler (not even two yet) who thought it was really fun to push a shopping basket around indoors. He was causing absolutely no harm, was nowhere near anyone or anything and was just being playful. All of a sudden a grown man who worked there came storming over to him without warning, yanked the basket off him and told him he wasn't allowed to do that. It was completely out of the blue and our little boy burst into tears and was inconsolable. We left and took him to the car but he wouldn't stop crying, he was clearly very distressed. I was so upset that I returned to the shop to ask the man why he had just done that. I also wanted to suggest that if a toddler pushing a shopping basket round was such a big deal, he should have spoken to us, the parents - under no circumstances should he have approached a toddler without warning and make him cry. When I returned to the shop to discuss this, another man decided to step in and told me repeatedly that as the basket wasn't being used for it's intended purpose"
