Definitely worth a visit, for a worthwhile cause. Both the cafe and museum can be used without paying a fee; however, to visit the farm and actually see the horses (and other animals) there's a £10 entrance fee - well worth the cost.

We spent a whole day here from opening time to closing time. The kids had the activity books, they loved the play park. We did the horse ribbon trail. My two are young and struggled to write down all the colours on the ribbons as instructed some had 3 colours with a small space to write it, it was a long walk for a 4 and 6 year old on a hot day though. The horses were well looked after and very friendly and gentle with the children snuffling their hair and hands but no bites or fearfulness or aggression. The petting farm was quiet the guinea pigs were hiding from the heat and the goats seemed too hot for the usual silly antics all animals and water and had plenty of space to roam with activites for the goats as well. The tractor ride which was included with the ticket was very popular and the kids enjoyed it though the detailed explanation from the lady giving the tour was a bit lost on mine as they didn't kmow what a colt or a stud or horse breeding was really all about. But I will say she knew her stuff. The cafe was lovely and we had a nice lunch their and the staff were all really helpful and understanding.

Had a lovely walk around the grounds, saw some of the horses in stables. They do a demonstration in the afternoon, but we didn't have time to stop for that.

Great day out. All areas are dog friendly. Food at the cafe is well priced and tastes lovely (milkshakes are fantastic). Tractor rides, horse demos, lots of animals to look at and pet, playground and activity book for children. All facilities clean and tidy. Free parking, no height restrictions. Lovely gift shop and all staff are friendly and helpful.

Great place for the kidsGood shop, food, and drinks.Great atmosphere, plenty to see.My only negative I'd say is things are spread out far and wide, but then it's good exercise with plenty of walking.

Very pleasant visit if you like horses. Had a nice walk around the grounds and a trip on the tractor ride. The horses very friendly as well as a few other animals. Nice play area for the kids. The goats' kids also seemed to be enjoying themselves. Cafe was nice and the food reasonable. Good place to spend a few hours.
