Lovely and affordable place to stay. Stayed for one night with a group of 13 friends. Owner and staff were all very friendly and welcoming (even let us check in early to save us the trouble of coming back to the hotel). Not too far from the centre and only cost us £7 in an Uber or taxi... Glen who works night shifts is an absolute angel! Will definitely be staying again when in Newcastle.

Very basic hotel, but also very cheap. Maybe not a family hotel, but for a stag do or night out in Newcastle it is perfect. Beds were clean and comfy and staff were friendly. Bathroom smelt a bit damp, but despite that would stay here again if on a Newcastle night out. Also less than £4 uber into the centre.

I booked the accommodation on 3th Sep and when I arrived the owner refused to allow my bicycle staying inside the property. Previously I have no issues with leaving bike inside the hotel, even not in the bedroom but the staff was always helpful to leave my bike in other places. The owner was in apathy and insisted I need to lock my bike outside the property. He blamed me that I haven't gone through the description on no bike storage on booking.com, however I double checked very carefully later and actually there was nothing regarding to bike storage. Actually not all accommodation would put description the bike storage but it has never been a problem if you want to leave the bike inside the house. The owner also didn't bother to tell me the hotel facilities and checkout procedure as well as other essential information etc after just giving me the keys. The story didn't end here. After two days I received an email from booking.com said that I didn't check it on that night. And be more precisely, it mentioned that it is the hotel NOTIFIED booking.com that I didn't check in. I'm not sure but highly doubt the owner did this on purpose. The possible reason is that you could not leave a review for the accommodation you haven't checked in, which I just found it later when I tried to leave a neutral review. Otherwise I don't see there are rational reasons that they did this. In my previous experiences, if you haven't checked in any booked accommodation I didn't receive any message from booking.com that asked me to CONFIRM if I have stayed. So I'm waiting for further news from booking.com after the clarification. And now I have to leave my feedbacks on google map for sharing my personal experience.Regarding the room, it is just a budget hotel so nothing special, there are no hot water kettle and tea-making facilities. For £36 actually you could find better deals available if possible. So if you just come to stay one night and leave without any other troublesome requests then it is ok but may not be the best choice, as the location and price is definitely not the best. So if you are a cyclist then I don't recommend this hotel at all because you have your own risks to leave the bike outside the property, though it seems safe. The primary reason for this negative review is because of the owner, his attitude and what I have experienced so personally I would not stay this place in any conditions.

Turned us away as only adults allowed to stay. Booked as emergency in last minute but got unlucky with this establishment. No clear information could be found about restrictions 18th and over only. But easily appears in the search when looking for a family stay. No refund they gave me. Will need demand my money back by other ways.P.s in front of the entry have playground

Booked for a night then payed at property to extend to the end of the week.Old man keep asking me every day when i'm leaving, making me feel unwanted there.Cleaning means changed sheets on bed, but nothing more than that: dirty carpet on the room, dirty beds, dirty bathroom, broken shower door, easy to furt yourself. My room looked like they colected free furniture from the streets and put it into the room.I had a common bathroom but in one week no one cleaned that bathroom: same dirt daily. No kettle, coffe and tea into the rooms like any other basic hotel. Also 1 single towel, 1 dingle soap for a ehole week.I asked for changing the bin in my room, no one did that so I stayed with a full bag of trash in my room whole week. Also they charge you 5£/day if you want to park your car in their owk patking area, otherwise you have to let it on the side of the road.2 stars for reception and bar, otherwise I would rate it 1 star.I eonder how in thos world, the autorities allow such a place to run because is a real danger for customers.

The reception staff where incredibly rude and obnoxious towards the group of people checking in. They charged hidden fees, told us that any food or drink would be forcefully taken away and charged a friend £40 to enter the premises and leave their suitcase in our rooms. The staff exhibited disgusting behaviour and we all felt like this hotel actively preys upon visitors and guests.

Friendly staff, there is a kitchen you can use but the minuses heavily outweigh the pluses. First of all, no WIFI in the rooms, which is a big minus, then no breakfast for a hefty price of 50 euros per night (!!!) , we found a bug on the floor which wasn't collected through out our four night stay (!!!) so they do not really clean the shared space, no kettle in our room or Trash bins (neither did the kitchen have trash disposal) and the bathroom door does not lock ? How is that possible, plus the shower is broken and has no instructions on how to use it and it is very confusing, c'mon at least get a repair guy to fix the broken shower, what the hell. Cheap, dirty, inconsiderate guys that run the place and also the amenities

Terrible.Cost excessive for what you get. Stayed in twin room but had to share bathroom with two other rooms, no breakfast; worse than basic for the price. Check out time 11:00 am.Paid £10 more for a weekend at a superior hotel, offering twin room en suite bathroom, an abundant breakfast, swimming pool, gym and a later check out plus situated in beautiful wooded grounds and much more.Worst is that your account is debited 1 month in advance without notice. Will never use again. Not recommended.

Staff friendly enough but this is definitely not a HOTEL. Bed clean and comfortable but room very shabby. Side panel of shower fell off when I opened the door. Massive pile of dirty laundry sat outside on the landing outside our room all night. Mope bucket to catch drips from leaking ceiling with no caution sign outside our room. Very very expensive for what it was!
