We had an amazing holiday with our 1 year old exploring Chamonix and the French Alps. Trailwise sorted us with a really lovely hotel, very comfortable and relaxed with a garden for our son to run wild in. The hikes were all stunning and varied, and the cable cars and local trains kept things fun and accessible with a little one. It was so great to have all the research and planning taken care of for us, Trailwise gave us the confidence we needed to do a hiking holiday overseas with a toddler. Communication was excellent and they thought of everything. Highly recommend!

All round fantastic trip. We did the glacier express for our honeymoon last July. Loved the Engadin valley and St Moritz. The Glacier express is a pretty unique journey and hard to appreciate the scale of things in photos. Zermatt is a place we would happily spend a lot more time in too, the town and the surrounding hills. Thoroughly enjoyed our hikes! The scenery is unlike anywhere else in europe and everything is sickeningly swiss (not a bad thing by any means). We found people generally helpful and friendly. All in all we had no issues with the trip. Would thoroughly recommend!

Trailwise Travel organized my recent trek across Switzerland - the Via Alpina. 21 days, +400km, 16 mountain passes. Amazing organization throughout by James at Trailwise Travel. We booked our Tour Mont Blanc self-guided hike through Trailwise. I was particularly nervous as we had never done anything like this before, James put our mind at ease straight away with his expertise of the area and gave us all options to choose from. From the beginning of our hike to the end it was totally seamless, we even got to stay at Rifugio Bonatti & Rifugio Elisabetta along the way! Accommodation, GPS maps and even the guidebooks that were provided were all used. We felt safe in the mountains on our own because of James and the team at Trailwise, all we had to worry about was putting one foot in-front of the other, James had organised everything else. We are eternally grateful for the adventure of a lifetime and wouldn’t hesitate in recommending Trailwise Travel.

It was wonderful to have James plan our trip. It was very thoughtfully organized. All of the resources: booklet, Mont Blanc book, apps were amazing and super helpful. I couldn’t believe how accurate the GPS mapping was on the app! The lodging was all perfect. Overall, I would highly recommend working with Trailwise Travel!

James from Trailwise did a brilliant job of organising out Tour Du Mont Blanc September 2023. As we booked late our accommodation options were limited. James sorted taxi and Liu transfers out that worked very efficiently .I would use Trailwise to book another walking holiday in 2024.

We did the Drive & Hike tour in the Julian Alps. Trailwise provides a suggested itinerary as well as alternative routes, so it's super easy to adapt the plan for tired legs (or more ambitious, longer days!). The whole trip went very smoothly: the hotels were excellent and the scenery was stunning. A fantastic holiday - would highly recommend!

Loved the support from TrailWise travel for our Tour Du Mont Blanc adventure. We were a family of 4 with 2 young teenagers doing a self guided trek. The trip was exceptionally well organised and well paced with great support pre trip and throughout. The maps, town guides, trip notes were spot on and well used. The whole trip was seamless.
