Not Too Shabby By Charlotte

I bought Fusion paint from Charlotte to go with one of her amazing tutorials. Customer service was fab, she answered questions quickly and was really helpful. The paint is amazing and the tutorial was great, perfect for beginners like me or peoole who are more experienced at furniture restoration. Ill definitely be watching more tutorials and getting my paint from Charlotte again

Charlotte is unbelievably talented and professional! She does completely bespoke orders tailored to you and your style. She is able to bring old, outdated items of furniture to life using amazing colour palettes and stencils, whatever takes your fancy. I couldn’t recommend her any more if I tried, she is just perfect at what she does. Great quality, great price, a wonderful businesswoman. Xxx

She is really knowledgeable about every single product, and buying from Charlotte comes with lots of helpful advice from her experience. She has been amazing and really helpful. I've bought paint from Not too Shabby" on a couple of occasions but Charlotte offers so much more. Whilst I haven't been in a position to commission any painted pieces I have found Charlotte to be knowledgeable

Where do I start? We stopped outside this beautifully renovated church and went inside with our old, rather faded furniture. We were treated to learning new techniques, how to prepare the piece and then shown some really cool tricks of the trade to get beautiful results. Charlotte not only supplied her knowledge, paint and tools but copious cups of tea and a lovely lunch! I'm so proud of the bedside cabinet that I painted and I bought more paint to do some other pieces in the room. What an awesome day we had, if anyone was thinking about going to a workshop or class please do yourself a favour and book!!!! ❤️❤️

I am a big fan of Charlotte’s work. The execution of her designs are exquisite with a superb attention to detail. Charlotte is also the one to go to for advice and has a vast array of products to purchase. And as a person, she is super lovely. If I had a new kitchen to redecorate, Charlotte would definitely be the one I would go to!

What an amazing talent Charlotte is! Having aborted an attempt to manoeuvre my large and very heavy Stag dresser, onto courier transport, to be taken away for up cycling, I was relieved to find someone who agreed to do the work, in my home.I could never have imagined what an easy process this would be. With only bulky items remaining in place, whilst table top, drawers, doors, and chairs were carefully removed for up cycling in Charlotte's studio, the work was completed in only three visits.Charlotte is utterly delightful and extremely easy company - just a thoroughly lovely, warm, responsive and immensely talented young woman, for whom nothing is too much trouble. The careful protection she put in place and minimal, no-dust sanding ensured that the work created no mess whatsoever and turned out to be immeasurably less stressful than having my furniture transported.I couldn't be more pleased with the fantastic end result. My great quality dining furniture has been completely transformed from old dark wood, to the lovely pale blue of my choice, with seats reupholstered to replace 46 years of disintegrating foam and draylon, and all at a fraction of the cost of replacement, and zero landfill!I would highly recommend Charlotte and now regard her as a friend. She is (imho) unusually creative and a true centre of excellence for this type of work - and if you are close enough to avoid couriers, then do think about having the work done in situ.
