Star Boarding Kennels & Cattery

I have used Star Kennels twice this year. They are incredible. The staff are all lovely, kind and personable. Special shout out to Millie who takes great care of our Bengal when he’s here.The premium cat houses are fantastic. We get regular updates and our cat is very happy here. He gets to play a few hours a day, he gets a lot of fuss made of him and we message to ask for photos.

After moving recently to the UK with our 7 year old Belgian Malinois we were immediately on the hunt to find the best kennel. We spoke to Mike at Star kennels and he invited us to walk the grounds and meet his team before boarding so we would feel comfortable and confident in our decision to board there. We were immediately impressed with the facility that was modern (thermostat for the kennels) and very clean (no rubbish to be seen). The dogs and cats all seemed content when walking through and the handlers were very knowledgeable of all the breeds temperaments. They also do drop off and pick up service in their air conditioned van. I highly recommend STAR ⭐️ Kennels for your pet boarding needs. We always entrust Star with looking after our family cats, we have done so for many many years now.All of the staff are kind, and happy to have a friendly chat at Reception. Star use the weighed out food we supply to ensure no dietary upsets. It's lovely seeing our cat's photos pop up on Facebook too.As a Veterinary Nurse I know the stress cats can face away from home. But our cats always come home looking well and settle back into home life as if nothing happened, so I know they must have a comfortable time during their stay.Thank you, as always :)

My very nervous 9-year-old cockapoo Molly has only this year started going into kennels, she really is a dog of habit and will only trust people she loves.My friend recommend Star boarding and I was apprehensive.So I did it for a day,then 4 days and this time it was 10 days.Today I was wondering how she would be when we collect her after 10 days.I was so please to say she was pleased to see us,but I think she was having more fun with the staff in particular I think his name was Fergus and another gentleman.For us it was so nice to get feedback from the staff which is so important for me.Apologies if I have not got your names right.So a massive thank to you all for taking care of Molly who is quite a vulnerable little dog.You will know me as overprotectiveJosie.See you all in the new yearLots of love ❤️ Molly + Josie

Star cattery are truly outstanding. The team go above and beyond, and our cats act like they want to stay when we come and pick them up! We really cannot recommend these guys enough - their love for animals shines through and is so appreciated. Thank you!

We needed a kennel for our two Dalmatians after a medical emergency meant we needed to leave the country with only a few hours notice. The team at Star were accommodating and helped us out the same day. When our trip had to be extended, not once but twice, they were compassionate and flexible.The dogs came back to us happy, well cared for and in a great condition.Would definitely use again and thoroughly recommend.

Our dog stayed there while we were in a hotel when we moved here. They were very helpful and kind to our dog.

Never left our family dog before and felt uneasy leaving him alone as we took family vacation. We also left this arrangement to the last minute so was very stressed however your team were fantastic and was able to get us booked in. They were fantastic, really friendly and made me and us all feel at ease to enjoy our break.We will definitely use you again, I can not stress how nice it was to see your team tell us how great it was having our Thor and how happy he was being around your team!Thor will no doubt look forward to coming back for his own lil holiday soon!
