Coffee and pastries are great, but the place feels a bit dirty. The tray and dirty plates on the next table were not collected the whole time we were there, and the floor was covered in litter. Shame as the selection and quality of pastries are good and the coffee is good too. They need more staff.

Spacious cafe and a little haven for escapism from the busy surrounding China Town. Great coffee and a wide selection of pastries/sandwiches. If you’re looking for a place to relax then this is a great addition to the area. Service was pleasant however it was a little difficult to find a seat as tables were not cleared (perhaps not enough staff/traffic). Was somewhat surprised with the lipstick stain on one of our coffee cups as you would assume that the level of hygiene would be of high standard especially for what I would consider a higher end bakery/cafe. Staff apologised and quickly rectified the issue however points on cleanliness should be noted. Also to add … minor detail but our table was wobbly and also the table next to us, so slightly affected the comfortability of seating.

Their vegan cinnamon chocolate pastry is amazing. Next to Leicester Square tube station, with plenty of room upstairs if you want to get away from the crowds/work.

Fancy something a bit less obvious than the usual coffeeshops? Look no further. Ole & Steen offers a quiet spot on such a busy street to have a quick bite and a dose of needed caffeine.And if you aren't in a rush (like me on that day!) you'll take the time to enjoy their passion fruit cheesecake (I swear it was like a mousse it was so light and tasty! Amazing!) Or some of their pastries that are equally as fun and delicious.And the coffee was lovely too! Result!

Lovely bakery options.Fresh and quick service. Coffee is not the best I have had. Great ambience and ample seating spaceCheesecake options available. Friendly staff. Highly recommend the bakery items.

The place overall was dirty.Chocolate cake was oversweetened,the tables weren't cleaned but coffee was not bad.

Hit and miss. I’ve ordered a cappuccino twice here and each time it was only moderately hot and went cold quickly (I’m sensitive to heat and usually drinks are too hot for me to drink within at least 15 mins, but these arrived at my lower than average drinking temperature). However the americano I ordered another time was a good temperature and the coffee was delicious. The food here is DELICIOUS, as it is at all Ole & Steen locations, especially the vegan rye bread and the Christmas squash toastie. In terms of service I’ve been met with servers who don’t seem to care about their job and have no smile or enthusiasm, but today was served by the loveliest, most helpful barista.There are plug sockets here and toilets, but sometimes the toilets run out of paper. The Wi-Fi is always working and fast.
