Would give them a higher rating if the staff stopped blocking up fire exits, fire alarms and fire extinguishers with big cages every day.

Decent selection and nice cafe. My main issue is with the mens toilets. Not to be vulgar or anything but their is always huge pools of urine on the floor for days at a time. Two urinals that seem to be blocked most of the time and one toilet that is always very unsanitary and disgusting. If this was just one day, then fair enough but it’s been at least two days that it’s been like this as I have been here for two days straight. Definitely needs to be looked after better

Slightly Chaotic this Friday morning (10/04/20). People queuing from 0800 onwards then told by a single member of staff at 0835 the queue would be stopped at 0900 for an hour for vulnerable customers * (no issue with this) but needs clear signage up about this (looked on Tesco website prior to leaving home and did not see this either *) At 0850 vulnerable customers were asked to form a line close to the store building so they all just walked through the normal queue without any observation of the 2 meter distance rule !IIn store a customers got upset because i passed them on the inside of an isle (which staff informed me at the entrance is policy ie keep to one side so customers can pass/isles 2meters wide)If this is to be prolonged then Tesco needs to improve its communication and signing .Staff doing their best and thank you all very much but they need some help from the top."

Selling a 3 pack of Tippex for £4. B&M sell 1 for 50p. Why are the reduced items still expensive! Reduce them properly and pass the benefit to the customer reducing your waste!

A good local supermarket, nice and spacious aisles and a good range of food. The clothing section is a little cramped. The car park is good, but it does have issues with kids on electric bikes racing round it late at night. Staff seem to be trying to tackle this. Good central location.

Just waited 20 mins for breakfast and it arrived cold, lady said she had just cooked it but when you leave it for any length of time and serve others around you who arrived after you its bound to get cold. Sent it back and are still waiting another 10 mins for it back. Poor breakfast and not cheap.

They have charged me £2.5 for 360 g of baby patatoes (£6.95 per kilo) calling it 'Tesco's finest'. Greedy and deceitfull supermarket. The should not be able to get away with it. I have decided to take my business elsewhere.

Have been today to do a big shop for a food bank Louis who was on the self scan checkouts helped me set up the self scanner and helped at the till with my packing aswell what a lovely young lad he is very helpful very polite he's a credit to Ingleby Barwick Tesco he deserves a well earned pat on the back.
