The staff are lovely. Our favourite is the carvery we come regularly it's our go to place for t. They give enough and decent portion. We love the beef it's tasty and tender. Annie was lovely always smiling and checking on us.

The food is to die for, comforting and warm, and the service is impeccable. Our waitress Annie was amazing, great manners and a good attitude. However, the decoration is slightly quaint.

We had a lovely carvery here, plenty of choice, even on what looked like a very busy day for them. The staff were friendly and nothing was too much trouble. A very welcoming atmosphere - will definitely be going back. Thank you for a great meal.

First time here with a friend of mine. Wasn't particularly busy at the time we went (weekend, 2:30pm), but that was perfect for us! We ordered online and paid for our bill online, too. Only ever interacted with someone once the food and drinks were brought out, but they were very courteous, helpful, and friendly. Food was delicious! I only got photos of my order, but what I got was yummy! A hot chocolate, cheesy beefy chips (I can't recall exactly what these were called on the menu, sorry) and my meal was a southern fried chicken sandwich (also with chips, plain). Everything on my end came out to less than £13, but had I gone for a water instead - it would have been a little less than a tenner for it all, which is not bad!! I'd absolutely come back again to try out more from their menu; they had a varied menu of things from salads, sandwiches, and burgers to even pizza and pastas! All of which sounded so delicious, it was hard to decide what to order lol. Overall, loved it here and would love to come back again!

A group of us went for the festive 3 course meal. The choice of food suited us all and there was a good choice of vegetables. The only criticism is that not all the vegetables were hot and the stuffing was very dry and bitty. The waitress Annie was very attentive and made sure we were well looked after.

Lovely waitress called Annie really looked after us. Nothing was too much trouble. Food was quite nice. Meat a little fatty . Great mash and gravy ! Pub was quiet but it was bonfire night so I expect it’s better on other weekends

Honestly not that good. Hardly any meat. They slice you a tiny sliver and the veg was well overcooked. Plus the heat inside was unbearable.

Nice two course meal for just over a tenner each. Lovely garlic bread, good burgers.Poor choice of beer, no real ale, but this is often the case in food pubs nowadays so I'm not complaining!Very pleasant and helpful service from Laura at the bar and other staff waiting.Will definitely come again.

Went for Sunday lunch initially dealt with by Ash one of the bar staff. He gave us all the necessary information surrounding Gluten free foods within the restaurant. My wife is coeliac and is very sensitive to any cross contaminated food preparation within the kitchen. Ash was very informative and a pleasant member of staff to talk with. Once we had sat down with our food we both enjoyed the meal. The meat was cooked to perfection and vegetables were lovely. We visit this carvery on a regular basis and are always more than satisfied with the food that is presented to us. Thank you so much.
