After 45 years of visiting Dorrington I have today come across the rudest member of staff, this was today at 3.50pm Saturday, she was clearly only interested in packing away the cakes and rolls and was irritated when I asked to make a purchase telling me they are closing in 10 minutes, she was either glaring at customers or ignoring them. I would suggest an urgent review of her customer service skills before Dorringtons reputation starts to suffer!

I ordered the fruit platter and pastries platter and doughnuts from here for a morning meeting I must say everyone was impressed with the presentation and we all loved everything on the platters and well the doughnuts were delicious and tasty so I would definitely recommend ordering from here as we will be soon and worth the money x

I love the baked goods in Dorringtons. They have delicious breads, especially the Chia! Cakes and biscuits , filled rolls are exceptionally tempting.

Great bakery, very nice selection of pastry and other sweet treats. Also fresh sandwiches and baguettes are on offer. Nice fillings to choose from as well, and they can be made fresh on the spot. Enjoy your breakfast.

Dorringtons is an old Bakery Chain and they have a few shops I believe. This one in Old Harlow has been there for years. We stopped going when we used to by rolls and they had a slither of filling along the front and nothing within the roll. Today I thought I would bet 2 sausage rolls. After dealing with quite possible the most miserable staff I have ever had to speak to the Sausage Rolls were burnt and rock solid in the base. This place is jumped up and the staff feel so entitled and I will not be coming back anytime soon.

Dorringtons is a friendly, local bakery with a very high standard. The products are generally well priced, and staff always friendly. My only reason for giving 4 stars is that they don't stock things like croissants, and also weirdly enough no French sticks (you can do an order for more than 5 though) We like to shop local, so do try to go to Dorringtons where possible as without support smaller businesses will not be able to thrive. We definitely recommend their custard doughnuts, Black Forest Gateau (pre-order only) and the cream doughnuts. All our family are fans. It is also wonderful to see the new vegan range. Our nephew is allergic to dairy, and in the past we struggled to get him anything.

The old lady who works there is the rudest lady I’ve ever been served by. She doesn’t smile she doesn’t communicate with customers. She has a fringe and white short hair. No customer service what so ever.
