Had a good couple of evenings here. A good locals pub with a friendly character. Slightly limited real ale choice as one barrel was down, unlucky cowboy. The chef had a colourful outfit, take sunglasses!!Menu on line.Nice to see a pub with a proper pub sign.

We was on holiday. One of the best meals we had in a long time. Reasonable price. Would definitely go back if we visited the area again.

We went on a Sunday lunchtime. Nice pub. Small car park at the rear. Service was fair to good. The staff were quite jolly. Food was fair to good and the portions were generous.

Had a family meal at this pub to end our holiday in Helston and to celebrate my daughter's birthday.Staff are very welcoming and let us bring a small birthday cake for her...they even put a candle!Will be back when we get the chance to come back to Helston!

Stopped off on our way back from St Michael's Mount. A warm welcome and instantly felt comfortable. Food was delicious. My husband had the steak and it was cooked to perfection. Kids well catered for and a good sized menu offering options for all tastes and appetites. Thank you for a Great ending to our day and we will definitely return if we are in the area.

Absolutely fun pub, until they get something wrong. Spent £200 over two nights, we admitted a previous drink the previous night we got wrong and we paid for it, no issue we didn't even raise it. This evening we took something this night back to the bar after something was missing from a drink, they decided to charge us twice for that same drink, simple mistake, fair enough we thought we sorted it at the end with the gentleman we had an absolute blast with said it was okay to get the drink taken off the next time we come in, because we wanted to come back again. However, after viewing the lady bartender who made us feel like absolute liars and poor attitude after observing her reaction to the incident made us feel awkward and unwelcomed for next time, ruining our atmosphere for the end of the night. Absolute shame to end our great experience this way, I do not like writing bad reviews.
